Yeah he really piped people down, leaving Carlo a squad with one senior striker, no right winger, an over the hill Seamus as RB, and basically begging clubs to take our misfits on loan.
I don't recall people complaining about any of that in October?

Pipe them all down this summer, Marcel, like you did last summer that people have conveniently forgotten..... :coffee:
Very funny. Bringing in the slowest weakest and mostly injured for life superstar in, doesnt bring any brownie points my friend. At least for sane people that have watched football more the 2 month like you!

Where exactly do you think we would have finished without James? 6 goals and 4 assists is not to be sniffed at!

he seems to be unable to comprehend the larger dynamics of a squad on the pitch. Even Allan and Doucoure who are solid acquisitions on their individual skills weren't factored in how they would interact and co-exist with other players. The team is an eco-system on the pitch if their individual attributes aren't compatible with other players traits there's disarray.

Gomes
Delph
Gbamin
Kean
King
Iwobi
Bernard
Lossl

That’s quite a list of major flops.
King, Bernard and Lossl were signed for a total of £2m. Lossl was only ever cover and Bernard did play well under Silver. We should also recoup some money for him this summer.

There was widespread clamour to sign Gomes after his loan year. it’s revisionist to think otherwise, but I accept he has not performed this year.

Delph and Iwobi have been failures, there is no hiding that.

Gbamin’ injury problems were not Brands fault. We can’t tell if he is a player or not, but that one is just bad luck.

Kean will turn a profit, so whilst not adding on the pitch this season, he is not a Walsh size disaster.
