…to be fair, the club have been good in backing their Managers financially. Unless you know different, I think this will be exactly the same.
Tongue in cheek Mr. Eggs.

When do you think they will be making a final decision on the manager; sooner rather than later I hope.

Its annoying that Villa are doing quick business. Unfortunately Villa Leicester Arsenal Spurs are going to be in for the same kind of players, and we have to have a good manager and good pitch to compete with them this year. Getting a manager and settled squad by July 1 is crucial and very difficult!

I really hope they've worked on something. For a change it would be nice to be well prepared. The Manager shouldn't change too much, because that's the whole point of Brands, and he can make decisions about those 5 + controversial ones like Keane or Holgate, Siggy, and now surely Allan and James will be issues for us to resolve.
It seems bizarre to me to wait for a new manager to try and move players on...

Kenny, Bernard, Iwobi, Delph, Gomes are just 5 of the players that obviously need to be shifted.

If we were able to shift them all or some of them then we have a bigger budget for the new manager.

Plus of course we can move on players knowing we have space in the squad and freed up wages.

We should have moved quickly weeks ago to sell and/sign.

If only we had a team like QPR taking on all PL's older and expensive discards.

Iwobi, Delph and as much as I'd have liked them to succeed, Gomes and Bernard just need to take pay cuts, move to lower PL clubs, China or MLS.

Hopefully Iwobi will not be the new Bolasie until 2023 or whenever his contract expires.

Unless Brands can exit Kean, Iwobi, Gomes and Davis for transfer funds I can't see any new manager moving the needle.

Selling requires a buying club.

The team needs a complete reset, and Brands is not the man to do it. How much money has been wasted on dross since he's been here? The point of a DOF is to make sure there is always a club philosophy that continues regardless of manager. Yet the squad has no actual identity or trajectory. The last couple years has seen massive amounts of money spent on very average players and that is not going to change with the same people in charge. How are Leicester and Villa able to buy relative bargains and turn them into Premier League quality?
