You have to take what Joyce says with a massive pinch of salt as the bloke has pretty much slated us/the board since he was no longer given exclusives.

Also I would pretty much ignore Brands as well - anyone who spends £27+ million on Alex Iwobi should not be deciding who this clubs manager is.

He's a glorified scout and thats it thankfully.

TBF to him and I’ve knocked him enough, but he wasn’t to know that Ancelotti is an absolute snake.

I refuse to believe Brands didn't get a say but I also think he will have voiced concerns over his appointment and this Moshiri/Usmanov appointment takes away some of the blame.

Benitez is a "name" manager and I think looking at previous appointments, he will have been a Moshiri guy above everyone else.

In his interview, I am sure Benitez has been impressive to the board but they couldn't pull the trigger so Moshiri did.
