If he had, would Silva / Carlo / Benitez have played them or would they have signed their own players / favourites / choice of panic buys?

I mean look at Nkounkou - signed for nothing, looked very decent, picked only once in the league last season (even though Digne was out of form or injured) and sent out on loan this (when we have no backup otherwise). He should be being developed here, where he can also be a kick up Digne's behind every now and again.
 
I think the owner, the chairman or whoever need to say something. Where are we going and what's going on. There's no doubt that we're in a mess.
 

It’ll be hard work gutting then squad next Summer. We need people like Delph gone, try to get money for a Keane etc. Problem we have is there are lots of high earners no one will understandably buy but the same high earners are blocking up our wage cap when looking to rebuild.

Honestly might take us paying off a few players in the end to get them out.

They speak out more often than not when it’s a positive. Negative times you barely hear anything or nothing at all. The club needs better all around leadership than that. They are phoney .

Phil McNulty at the BBC knows exactly what they are like.
 
Moshiri's blind faith in Walsh and this charlatan is the reason our squad is nowhere near fit for purpose. Who is advising moshiri? Kenwright? Obviously brands and the rest of the scouting team cant spot a premier league player.
Moshiri has been generous to our club, but he has just been a total clown in entrusting Walsh and brands to spend it correctly.

We are rotten to the core. A club run by clowns and amateurs. Cosy, friendly, comfy, rubbish. Where's the ruthlessness we have been crying out for?
 

It's farcical. What exactly is he doing/ has he done?

Imposed a culture/ way of playing? No

Recruited managers to fit said blueprint? No, had every single one imposed upon him.

Recruited players to fit said blueprint? Less said there the better.

Transformed the academy? Not a single player on our books over the age of 15 who looks likely to make a top level career. No hint of a common style of play. No hint of a common approach to technical development across the coaching team.

Transformed facilities? I saw some pretty pictures of an updated FF about 3 years ago, nothing actioned.

It is impossible to imagine a sporting director having less of an impact 3+ years in.

Almost certain to be in place until the middle of the decade when our overlords finally look up from the shiny stadium toyset to behold the wasteland that is everything else Everton.
 
He's a utter waste of space this clown. Lets not just let him just get away with his part in the disaster he's inflicted on our club. Hate the FSW all you want but Brands is far more at fault for the utter trainwreck that is EFC than Benitez is. There's plenty of blame and hate to go around, just make sure that you give this utter bellend his fair share of it! He's stolen a living for years at our club and I just hope that nobody is ever stupid enough to employ him again after we show him the door.
