Is it even possible to 'get rid' since he's on the board of directors?

You bored or something mate?Well yeah, our refusal to hire managers who won't demand that they be allowed to sign at least some players is completely ridiculous.
YeahYou bored or something mate?
Oh he does.
He wanted to sign Dumfries. We had a deal agreed with the player, sort of with PSV, didn't have the cash though but think the plan was to go with a loan to buy with obligation.
Benitez didn't want the player when he came in. Inter then came in for Dumfries and we didn't have the cash to compete.
He took Patterson to benitez, benitez didn't want to go too high - I agree on that tbf btw. Brands' next choice was AMN, who isn't even a RB.
Now, the issue is Brands clearly in that circumstance hasn't come up with acceptable, cohesive targets. I like Dumfries, but him and Patterson are nothing alike and AMN is nothing alike either of them - there's no profile, no plan or structure. Just random picks.
But he did want a RB this summer. Benitez ran the rule and said no to the choices he was presented with.
Exactly. Nail on the head. Mad men are making the decisions at the topSigned a new contract last April - if the club sack him now it's another glaring highlight of their incompetence.
According to the guardian, Brands was against the signing of Benitez. All the signings in the summer were all “Benitez signings”. I remember reading about him overruling the Dumfries signing. Brands has made some mistakes but he has spent the past few years cleaning up the mess by Walsh and Koeman. He took a few gambles and it did not pay off. Injuries have really ruined our squad over the past few years.Oh he does.

This is pretty much the most charitable spin I can put on the mystery that is Marcel Brands. He’s just another chump stealing a living from Everton football club, just like half the first team squad.
Just pointing it out because you're like the 3rd one I've seen mention it...
The guy was yelling but it was no where near screaming in his face lol...
If it was just a random guy in traffic he was yelling at, or even brands in public... but he's at the stadium during the derby losing 4-1... how soft can we be? The guy was fine.
My interpretation is he was implying the whole club's a mess.Alls he says is “is it only the players!?!”
So is he putting blame on Rafael?? The coaches?? Decision makers?? Fans for not backing??
All guess work really but my guess is its Rafael.
Say leave or something.Please resign
Sidibe."He had Dumfries lined up"
So after needing a new RB for 3 years the only RB he could find was his countryman Dumfries. Hasn't he been poor for Inter too?
