You’re right, we don’t know the full ins and outs, but we do know that Brands hasn’t had the freedom to do his role effectively.

That’s 100% on Moshiri, and it will be interesting to see what emerges, for the reasoning behind Brands departure.

In a way, I’m hoping Brands has pushed back and demanded sole control, because it’s the only way we’re going to get the full clear out.

Easier to let her quit having found another job and not pay her out rather than sack her I'd imagine. Also even though it shouldn't even matter I imagine the PR of sacking the woman known for incredible charity work probably doesn't come off great.

Shows that he was performing his job as a DoF. Not exactly his fault but doesn't make him sound like a respected figure at the club considering a new manager felt comfortable just walking all over him and going over his head to the owner and yet Brands just still let it happen. He's not blameless.

A disaster of a DOF - thank heavens he's gone and hopefully Kenwright and DBB follows him.

The only problem is I`m scared of Rafael having so much freedom, purely because his signings are the ability of Salomon Rondon. That should set many alarm bells ringing........
