Marcel Brands

You and me both mate. It was more to point that they are that pathetic, they can't even get the publication date correct.

They've probably broken the compromise agreement no doubt in place between them and Brands too by getting the date of issue wrong.
Sorry mate, got the wrong end if the stick there, this rubbish has really wound me up so i apologise - you're spot on, it's actually worse than pathetic.

I hope they have stuffed whatever confidentiality clause they had with brands and he brings the whole house of cards down with him now.

It’s pretty clear he wasn’t sacked.

After the confrontation by the “fan” on Wednesday that went viral, I’m not surprised he’s decided to leave.

The problem here is somebody needs to be held accountable for these signings.

Namely:
Sigurdsson for £40m
Iwobi for £36m
Gbamin for £25m

Who made these signings???

Others such as:
Walcott £20m
Tosun £25m

Are certainly Alladyce signings. What a waste of £25m.

Koeman
£25m Klassen

The list goes on. We have squandered millions on rubbish. But please somebody identify who paid the money for the first 3 as these are really really bad

I think he should've been sacked. I think that only because he was paid compensation. Not too sure but doesn't matter because imo, Brands didn't do a good job.

The list of bad signings are longer. Moise Kean, Andre Gomes (unlucky), Yerry Mina (already had an injury record in Barca), Gbamin, Iwobi, Ben Godrey and Sidibe (thankfully is only loan). I consider them bad because the transfer fees and wages were large and have yet or did not do anything for Everton. Also, to mention the RB failure. Look at Brands' recommendations - Max Aarons (not really doing well now at Norwich), Dumfries (not doing well at Inter) and AMN (not even a RB and not playing). If he wanted a Dutch style a play, I don't see his signings actually move towards direction either.

And youth side is definitely under his watch for 3 years and nothing came out of it. Couldn't keep hold of talents like Mohamed-Ali Cho and Thiery Small, it's arguable if they are ready but they are talents nonetheless. Neither did he manage to put a stamp on a better direction for the youth academy or the football club in general.

Ta ra. Problems don't stop with him tho. If we are pursuing a dof that position needs to have the trust of the owner to do just that. Direct the football strategy. Clearly that hasn't been the case.

He'll not get a top brass job like this one again.

Was given £200 million under Silva and £70 million under Carlo to build us a half decent squad and he shat the bed.

Back to the Eredivsie signing £750k players with Feyenoord he goes.
The sad thing is I bet them 750k players he finds turn out better than the players he spent millions on here. That’s just the Everton way. If we didn’t have bad luck we would have no luck.

Frustrating isn't it.

He did mate. Most of those signings weren’t his. Been obvious from day one.

Come on mate. lol

Richarlison, Doucoure, James and Allan I give you, Iwobi/Godfrey possibly if you beleive Kenwrights mouthpiece.

Who signed the following:

Delph
Gbamin
Kean
Benard
Digne
Mina
Sidibe
Lossl
King
Olsen

Still a lot of crap in that unidentified list and the scary thing is Richarlison, Doucoure, James and Allan have been 4 of our better signings these past few years and weren't even his!

There’s no good outcome for him. He was either the one driving the train off the cliff, or he sat in the back doing nothing whilst we paid him handsomely as we careered off course. Either way it doesn’t reflect well on him.

No progress with the academy
No progress with the medical teams
Recruitment not improved
Silly wages still being paid
Performances on the pitch not improving

Has to go.

He's probably got another opportunity
