Its difficult to analyse this properly, on one hand perhaps the club lost faith in him, though signing a new contract in April seems strange. Maybe we have a few Bob to invest and we‘ve lost trust after the summer window and an inability to player trade. Events last Weds may have created the political appetite for it. Surely this couldn’t be knee jerk, based on the fans turning - Moshiri has a history caving to public opinion mind. Maybe the manager hung him. It’s some power play and some show of support by the club.
TBH I think he can have no complaints, struggled to pick players, wasted a lot of money, often left lines in the squad short and couldn’t bring any money into the club.
Feel sad for Seamus Coleman though, whose going to give him his birthday cake is Florida this year.

If it were my club - I'd have an elected fan representative to liaise with the club, I'd have a highly public and annually reviewed mission statement, I'd have the club structure and lines of reporting on the clubs website, I'd have scheduled forums to communicate more honestly and openly with the supporters.
I'd have the club as open as you can be. An intelligent person should lbe able to ook at the club and immediately see where the need for improvement resides, and whose responsibility it is to make sure it happens. We're nowhere near that point, and no roadmap to get there either.
