That makes no sense.

Moshiri pays the bills
Moshiri is building us a new ground.
Moshiri invests a lot of money on signing players

Whilst its fair to ask questions of his running of the club which we can clearly see isn't great to bite his hand is very unwise when he could quite easily put his chequebook away, turn off the USM sponser taps, not cover the losses anymore and leave us financially in the mud.

Didn’t read the article then?

lol

Not one mention of him speaking to him, whilst in China.

How can you go against actual quotes?

I read them at the time - it’s a crock of dung. He was in China whilst Gray was at Leverkusen if you weren’t aware. Just piece together those quotes in your head and it’s the kinda tosh you’ll hear down the pub at the urinals.

My concern is Brands didn’t want Benitez.

Benitez now basically has full control, and that concerns me. What style is he aiming for?

Genuinely more concerned that before.

True. But brands was incompetent before he arrived so at least thats one out the door.
And if anything at least we will now know who's responsible for those on the pitch.
Presuming no other dof comes in. Which i hope it doesnt.

What's any of that got to do with a football manager?

You honestly think Benitez says no don't give me 100m, I'm happy with free transfers.

Everton also tried to sign Gray in January 2021 prior to his Germany move.

It has nothing to do with the football manager.

Moshiri is the big dog at Goodison and so long as we need his dough he can do what he pleases as majority shareholder whether we agree with those decisions or not.

I personally think his heart is in the right place he just puts his faith in the wrong people like Kenwright, Brands etc.

I was hoping during his tenure even extending to when Walsh was in charge that Everton would of made some shrewd signings involving promising and less established players from lower or obscure leagues. Oddly that's been Moyes approach at West Ham and it's been pretty effective.

Ah ok.
So apart from him putting faith in the wrong people, your comfortable his faith in Benitez is well founded and of reasonable judgement?

Hello

This is your actual thought process, and you wonder why people buzz off you.

His leaving will make little to no difference in the long run, it seems as if he didn’t do much anyway. I just hope that this is just the beginning and lots of other exits follow Brands, starting with Kenwright and DBB. I won’t be holding my breath though, I reckon Brands is just a sacrificial lamb. Hope the ground completely empties on 27mins tomorrow.

Well we did sign someone from Croatian league, Belgian league, Carlisle United etc. just don’t always pan out.
