I've always felt the DOF model is rubbish, and Marcel has not done anything to change my mind. Our recruitment has been poor since Bobby took over, and it actually somehow got worse when we got big money and DOFs.

Tough job on his hands? He’s had 100s of millions and largely wasted it. He now has a tough job on his hands as we have to abide by FFP regulations due to the excessive spending on largely mediocre players on top wages that has left us with an unbalanced and lop sided squad.

I find it truly remarkable how he is still in his role. The money we have spent under his watch to have this lack of quality is frightening. How do people defend him?
