Marcelo Bielsa

I know that it is a bit different as he had a full preseason at Leeds, but he completely transformed a team full of [Poor language removed] and lazy championship strugglers to the most entertaining team I’ve seen. Your squad is at least twice as good as anything he had to work with at Leeds so you should not be that worried about your Minas and DCL. Bielsa will make them run and play. I’m a massive Leeds fan but football hasn’t been the same without Bielsa around, and I really hope that you get him in because all I want is for him to manage a team again, so I can enjoy his football.

I really think that Everton and Bielsa is a great match as well and i think that he would really connect with the scouse way of living, and he really emphasizes that football is supposed to be for the working class and that his job as a manager is to bring joy to the workers that don't get that much joy outside of football. I love him, I miss him and I want him back in my life and if Leeds can’t have him then I would be glad for a proper club like yours to have him.

Absolutely crazy this. The best thing I can say is that it would set us down the pass to having an actual style to build on. But Bielsa would eventually need to be replaced and finding the right man to carry it on is hard.

What might a Bielsa team look like?

Pickford
Patterson Tarkowski Coady Vinagre
Onana
Gordon Iwobi Doucoure Danjuma
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
That's better than what he had at Leeds IMO.
DCL would be dead off the first training session so you'd be best putting Maupay in.

I'm not sure there is a right man.

I am sure Bielsa would be compelling viewing, though. Like a car crash.

I'm all in for the entertainment value.
Bielsa would keep us up no problem and going the game would be exciting. We would go into every game playing for a win with attacking football. We’ve been starved of that for years.

I'm not sure anyone is keeping us up, but anybody other than Lampard has a chance. So, that's a start. If we can stomach losing matches 4-3 having been three up at half time, Bielsa's our man.

Why is everyone giddy at the prospect of going down “with a fight” just because we will be losing 5-2 instead of 3-0, the result is the same - a catastrophic relegation.

One thing you can admit with Bielsa,

If we go down, he’d ensure we went down swinging.

Also would be ideal if we go down to have him. Correcting this ship would go down as one of any managers greatest achievements
Yep windmilling all over over the gaff!

Or let’s get a manager who’s style is to stand against the ropes with our guard up.

I’m not sure Bielsa first move is signing these Dominic, Calvert and Lewin players.

In all seriousness no fight in any of those players, no hard work done by any barring the centre halves. Seeing Bielsa work with this lot will be some fascinating social experiment.

I’ve accepted we are down, so it’s an experiment I’m up for seeing

Because we've left it too late anyway. Some of us are already in the acceptance stage. Might as well spice it up as we go down the chute.
