Marcelo Bielsa

Whilst I would love to have him at the club, I feel like its walking into a firework factory with a flamethrower.
If we’re going down I’d genuinely rather it be in a blaze of glory rather than with a whimper. Honestly I think it’s sort of the best of both worlds.

Bielsa is a good enough manager to get us out of this mess and kick us on but if we were down he’s also a big enough lunatic and carries enough sway in the football world that he’d go nuclear on the club and potentially make Moshiri, the board and any other parasites at this club have no other option than to leave due to the global embarrassment.

Win/Win in my opinion. If we’re going down I want each and every leech on this club to be hounded out by as many people as possible and make it forever known that they were the ones that killed this once great institution.

This guy will be gone by Christmas. Actually, I'll be surprised if he gets past Oct if we're stupid enough to go there. There's even a chance that he doesn't see this season out. It would be one of the most laughably bad appointments in history of the sport. Never mind the club!

Bielsa would certainly be interesting choice and to be honest I would definitely choose him over some of the other names mentioned.
He was adored at Leeds and does not suffer fools gladly , I don't think would cost a fortune if it didn't work out as did he not work at Leeds for the first couple of years without a contract?
Would he keep us up? Probably not but he is definitely a fella for me who could sort out the dross in the summer and start the rebirth of the blues.
Would our board go for him definitely not they haven't got the bottle. He is to much of a loose cannon but from a fans prospective we would be entertained and God knows it is about time we were able to watch a team on the front foot and exciting.

Was reading up on him says likes play 4-1-4-1 formation, would need more in but not sure how he can change it woth this set players

I feel the same- but after what feels like years of boring football and a slide into obscurity I’d be happy to roll the dice and give Bielsa a go. I haven’t watched football that’s entertaining at Everton for a long time- Martinez first season probably.
We might as go down trying to win games and working hard rather than the dross we’ve seen under Lampard and Benitez.

I've found our new manager!!!

"Mcneil why did you join my beloved Everton?"

"Sir, to score sir"

"So you're a scorer?"

"Sir yes sir"

"You got a goal celebration?"

"Sir??"

"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!, thats a goal celebration, now let me see your goal celebration!!!"

"Yeees"

"Bull**** you didn't convince me, let me see your real goal celebration!!"

"Yeees!"

"You couldn't score in a brothel, work on it!"

"Sir yes sir"

Sometimes what you need is a hard, stone faced [Poor language removed].

I told my mate who's a utd supporter that when they got Ten Hag in he would be the one to turn them around, and its early day's but he seems like he's making a good start on doing it.

Main reason I felt like that is that Ten Hag very clearly doesn't suffer fools, and i feel the same way about Bielsa.

Our club is a farce on every level from players to board to owner. Nobody at Everton is even slightly serious. We need a cultural change to address this and there aren't many people in football who are more serious than Marcelo Bielsa.

Recruiting a weirdo is the FINAL piece of our death jigsaw. Why not.
