Could you Honestly get 2 more completely opposite playing systems then Lamps and Bielsa..
One Training session with this squad of crocks and he'll walk...

Also you've got to factor in we're already collapsing because of things like no talk from the board.
And now were talking about a manager that uses an interpreter. How long before that starts riling fans...

he doesnt need an interpreter for the players, its only for the media

not sure that was the case - with Athletic at least the squad CBA with it after a while, they weren't physically broken and some of them (Llorente, Martinez) binned the club off for more money and better prospects

Some of Bielsa’s play at Athletic was fantastic, naturally when you do well some players get poached off.

All you had to do was see Llorente at the back end of his career, he was near immobile.

But with Atheltic, they had good played. For Leeds, he has Dallas, Ayling, Basford and so on, they’re championship players who up their game, and end up injured because they love the fella.

Great qualities, but always a short shelf life.

Bielsa isn't right for this squad. They can't run normally never mind fast like he would demand. Having said that I wouldn't mind him coming in the Summer with a preseason to work on the squad. Just can't see it working now.

I'd expect him to play a lot more youth players if he was appointed, certainly this season. I am not sure that wouldn't be a bad thing, to be some kid in our academy and have a manager come in, give you a chance and you know that if you take it you'll play next week.

Our management has in recent history seemed to try to pretend that our Academy players aren't ready to play football at 17 or 18 (or 20-21), which is always something you can evidence from reserve games or being on loan at the likes of Blackpool or how they fail as players when they finally leave us at 23/24 and end up at the likes of Fleetwood but I really wonder whether its any better for the club to spunk tens of millions on "proven" PL players like Maupay or McNeil instead.

We've badly failed a number of promising youth players under Unsworth's stewardship of the academy. Bielsa would no doubt add to the revamp that Thelwell has undertaken. It's an intriguing appointment, a huge gamble which if it pays off could change our fortunes entirely. I'd keep him if we go down anyway tbh, he can get back up and I'd much rather watch his style than any other manager we could get at the moment.

I've no idea if he's the right man or not. He's 67 though. Not that I'm being ageist but it's a strange one. There are others i'm reading about like Tedesco?

Why would Tedesco leave a title contenders in the Bundesliga/round 16 in the CL to join a relegation threatened Everton? Seriously some of you need your head examined ?

I am not sure Unsworth was to blame for that so much as managers not playing them.

Take Benitez last season when DCL got injured - I refuse to believe that Simms (when he was fit) would have been any worse than Rondon was in terms of goals, chances, holding up the ball or whatever.

Everton apparently approached Brentford for their manager franks but were turned down

who ever takes over will need to read the riot act to these players because it had not been good enough
From Frank to Franks ! Must of been putting some serious work in behind the scenes on this list then.

Or did Bill think it was a 2 for 1 Deal
