These past few squads have been the weakest mentally I can remember for ages. Under Moyes if we hit a rut and the fans got restless you’d know that the next game we’d come out absolutely fighting, think that City game at home after we went out of the cup to Wigan. These last few squads though, as soon as one thing goes wrong they go into a downward spiral so bad that they can’t even make simple passes to each other. Then they start to blame the fans and it doesn’t end until the manager gets fired.

Totally, and the opposition know it. Moyes for all his faults, he would mostly get a reaction. Silva worries me as he is still going with this zonal marking. The more he continues to pursue a method that doesn't work, the more he looks like the next incarnation of Martinez.

I say it a lot but Everton are broken. From top to bottom.

We had a little glimpse of a chance when Moshiri started investing but they absolutely ballsed it up with the likes of Koeman and Walsh, Bolasie and Rooney and many many more.

I have no faith in this manager, and I have even less faith that should he be fired that they’d bring in the right type of manager we clearly need.

We are stuck in a vicious cycle where we can’t buy the players we so obviously need because of the mistakes of the past few seasons where our players on silly wages are immovable. Then in turn they look like they don’t give a [Poor language removed] because why would they?!

I don’t know the cure for Everton. I’m not even sure there is one.

As for Marco Silva. Didn’t want him. Still don’t. Just a glimmer of hope may change my stance, as of now I’m not seeing a thing. Just the same mistakes over and over. I have a tiny bit of sympathy for him. However, if he can’t handle this situation, as it clearly seems right now, then he’s obviously in the wrong job. Again.

Would have been a decent point to make if Gana, Gomes et al had us somewhere higher than 11th in the table and we weren’t already out of all cup competitions.
The sooner we put McCarthy into the side and get a bit of grit and heart the better. The team are a disgrace at the moment, got bullied and intimidated by a lowly championship team and no one wanted to stand up and be counted.
