Problem is zonal marking isnt working disgracefull how many goals we have concended should adapt to man marking, also the amount of players needed to go is shocking

You don't need to have or indeed be experienced in football to know exactly how bad your football team is and has been playing, but hey continue to [Poor language removed] the fans off and sick your head in the sand at mediocrity

After Wolves game,

Claim:. We can't defence.
Fact:. True. But temperament as well - we lack the temperament of a cool headedness. 1st goal, needless penalty. 2nd goal, no point to foul when clearly your team mate was recovering the lose ball. Both goals avoidable.

Claim: Tosun and Richardson aren't performing.
Fact: No supply line. There is a serious lacking of balls in the supply line into the danger area. Why not put in some early crosses for Tosun, Richarlison to charge into to mix up the boring and ineffective fringe passing (which ends up dispossessed most of the time)

Claim: We lack fighting spirit.
Fact: They tried. Players tried to fight but they are just clueless due to lack of strategies and looked disjointed. Most of the running and charging ends up wasted and ends in discouraging result. Again short of strategies for the fight to be of purpose.

Claim: We need a striker.
Fact:. Will be almost useless without effective supply line.

Claim:. As the commentator, we are having problem.
Fact:. True. Problem of Attacking Strategies (eg. no Plan B), problem of motivation (eg. to wake up has been giants in say Walcott, Sigurdsson etc), problem of defence (eg. silly fouls, poor marking, temperament issues)

Claim:. Silva needs to go.
Fact:. For Short term remedy? Or patience needed for long term vision of club?

We've become incredibly predictable and easy to defend. Just pass the ball around defense until eventually one of the fullbacks gets the ball near the sideline and has nowhere to go with it. It's all very slow and deliberate and easy to suss out. And this approach hasn't been adjusted in months.

Is the much maligned continental system that used to get pelters from commentators at the Worls Cup. It works in leagues where you get time on the ball, but in a physical league like the EPL it can get overwhelmed if the players are not good enough.

It is starting to be a worry that Silva looks like he hasn't got any ideas on how to change things. Just like him leaving Watford last year, if it doesn't work then nothing changes.

The game against Huddersfield was shocking but we won against the worst team in the league, no matter how hard we made it. However that result is meaningless now because the minute we play a team that isn't going down we get exposed again and lose. How many more games are we going to lose between now and the end of the season simple because

Silva needs to change something quickly because it's clear plan a isn't working. I said we would stumble through the rest of the season but even to me it's concerning how badly we get outplayed by the team's around us. I can take a hammering by a title chasing team but Watford wolves and Southampton recently have massive outplayed us, Brighton stopped us and even Millwall beat us on the night .

The season is a write off but can Silva salvage some hope for next season or is this as good as it will get?

It doesn't mean the team have to be openly hammered by the fans as it won't help - the underlying reasons need to be understood

Silva has made some good signings on the face of it. Is it confidence / tactics / lack of a striker??

Wolves are pretty good at the moment by the way - high confidence, supportive fanbase

We play two widemen both today just hugged the white touchline leaving two in midfield totally isolated and out numbered - a tactical blunder ......Week in week out oh and two fullbacks who both got subbed as they are sadly old , and finished , and Keen turns like an articulated lorry.......

If he still sticks with Michael Keane at the start of next season...he should be fired on the spot.

If he came out and tried man marking then we can say he is trying something different but he's doing the same things and expecting a different outcome each time

Thing is, you cannot just come out and “try” a new marking system. Especially if, as a manager, you are not good enough at coaching to put it in place. I have my doubts Silva is a student of the game, so he will find it hard to make changes outwith his preferred system.

I guess if you don't think Gana is good, you would be frustrated at the manager. I suppose if you think Baines still has anything left in the tank, you might blame the manager. If you think Keane is a good CB, you might be frustrated at the manager. If you think Tom Davies and Gomes is a solid midfield combination, you might be frustrated at the manager. If you think Coleman is still an effective RB, you might be mad at the manager.

But look, he's got no Gana, Digne, Mina, and apparnet no Bernard - that he deserves criticism for.

I didn't like subbing off Walcott, I didn't like not playing Bernard, but otherwise, I though playing 4-3-3 with Siggy sitting deeper along with the other mids was the right move. Baines getting that terrible penalty and Keane committing a dumb foul isn't Silva's fault.

lollollol he has been our worst player by about a mile this season and was absolutely dreadful today again. Do us a favour mate and knock the hipster football guru act on the head your not very good at it.
