Mate if this ain’t working what’s the point of going on till next season? It’ll be the same if Martinez was given the 4th season.

At least Brands is responsible for the transfer so we have continuity. We just must get a coach who can make the best out of the current squad.

We have been saying that for four years.

It's crap. The players are crap.

He is like a hyped up boxer who padded his record fighting bums.

What will his Everton win percentage be if he manages to get through this run:

Man City (h)
Watford (a)
Cardiff City (a)
Liverpool (h)
Newcastle (a)
Chelsea (h)
West Ham (a)
Arsenal (h)
Fulham (a)
Man Utd (h)
Crystal Palace (a)
Burnley (h)
Spurs (a)

I look at this and seriously I can`t see us winning another game!!!

No relegation this season but maybe next. I don't think they will give Silva money to spend unless it is money recouped from sales.

Brands is the one with the purse strings not Silva. Think the whole idea of Brands giving the ok on buying is that we are trying to set up a model of style of football so regardless of who is manager we continue in the same model from youth to senior. Can see Silva asking for certain players but if Brands doesn't think they will suit then he will say no.

No manager stops Keane making that foul yesterday. That's on Keane. That's on Keane being thick. That foul threw away the game. At that point we were well in it.

I agree with slating Silva for his tactics and changes etc. But no manager stops that big oaf making that foul.

Come the summer he'll have a lot to answer for, either way, as well.

I trust him, I'm not going all Dave, but he needs to prove he can sort something, now. Whatever manager is in place.

Its funny because out of all our CB`s Keane is the only one who has played in a solid back 4 that was hard to break down at Burnley. Zouma relegated with Stoke, defence being their biggest issue.

Some people just don’t get this it’s all Silva’s fault they think! Ffs.

We can't be in a situation where we can't concede in fouls over half way or we will concede from the ball into our box!

Who is using the stability card for Silva. BFS is a manager that will mainly get you mid-table with his style and nobody wants that. Remember BFS went 2 wins in 12 games at one stage in his short spell with us. Now I am not saying Silva is going to do better but his intentions are different from BFS. His intentions and style might make us drop down the table but the intent is to have a go and to try and play football. The intent from both managers is chalk and cheese. Out of the 2 I know who I would have and still think he should have his summer of change then take it from there until around Christmas.

I want 7th this season. BFS records not including the West Ham home game were P24 W9 D7 L8. I believe if he sees out his contract he will accumulate more points than Silva after 38 games. And this doesn’t mean I like or rate him.

I don’t see why we should glorify an individual’s playing style. If he can’t get results it’s nothing. If we hoof it and win 1-0 everytime I could not care less.

I agree.

But that foul wasn't needed. It was stupid. ALL of the players know that set pieces aren't exactly a strong point. Why the f make that foul. That's all on Keane being thick, completely and utterly thick.

Clearly a stupid thing to do, it seems Southampton has done it again. I don`t think Southampton have better players than us yet since Ralf Hassenhuttl has been in they`ve beaten Arsenal ending their 22 game unbeaten run, drawn with Chelsea and accumulated 14 points from 9 premier league games. Southampton looked dead and buried 9 games ago sitting in the bottom 3 with 11 points from 16 games.

In the same 9 games we have accumulated 9 points. In fact more alarmingly in those 9 games we have scored 13 (5 at Burnley) and conceded 17. We got lucky with Moyes, other than him who have we appointed `up and coming` or `next big thing` that suggests its a route we should go down?
Maybe not so much next big thing but Martinez could be classed as a hopeful punt in that many said swerve, but we went for him.
Mike Walker going back in time, most certainly, as was Moyes.
For the record, I was firmly in the Silva camp to appoint him as I reckoned he had done a half decent job at Hull.
Like many have said I don't know what it is about this club, whether it be managers, coaches, players you name it, they come here with reputations and nose dive the minute they turn up here.
I am truly at a loss.

We have been saying that for four years.

I think it’s absolutely wrong to choose Martinez and Silva, both unproven in PL.

Koeman I understand that at the time, he got 6th and 7th at Soton.

BFS he’s a fireman so I won’t read too much on his appointment.

No it didn't, ok we gave away a stupid free kick but we could of defended that, just like we could of defended the one at Millwall, only we couldn't because of the managers tactics.
