Just listened to his latest garbled unintelligible rambling post match garbage..
It doesn't surprise me the players don't understand his pre match instructions

Why do you think he's only interested in signing Portuguese speaking players? He's a good manager he just comes over terribly in translation. It's a shame.

Maybe not so much next big thing but Martinez could be classed as a hopeful punt in that many said swerve, but we went for him.
Mike Walker going back in time, most certainly, as was Moyes.
For the record, I was firmly in the Silva camp to appoint him as I reckoned he had done a half decent job at Hull.
Like many have said I don't know what it is about this club, whether it be managers, coaches, players you name it, they come here with reputations and nose dive the minute they turn up here.
I am truly at a loss.

Not managers with poor PL records and got their clubs relegated.

No manager stops Keane making that foul yesterday. That's on Keane. That's on Keane being thick. That foul threw away the game. At that point we were well in it.

I agree with slating Silva for his tactics and changes etc. But no manager stops that big oaf making that foul.

Or an experienced player like Baines having a brain fart and giving away that pen Toff.

I agree.

But that foul wasn't needed. It was stupid. ALL of the players know that set pieces aren't exactly a strong point. Why the f make that foul. That's all on Keane being thick, completely and utterly thick.

Digne done it about 4 times the week before. I agree it's completely daft. But it doesn't excuse our defence making no effort to get tight to attackers. I don't think they know what what their jobs are. It's embarrassing for a top coach.

He is like a hyped up boxer who padded his record fighting bums.

What will his Everton win percentage be if he manages to get through this run:

Man City (h)
Watford (a)
Cardiff City (a)
Liverpool (h)
Newcastle (a)
Chelsea (h)
West Ham (a)
Arsenal (h)
Fulham (a)
Man Utd (h)
Crystal Palace (a)
Burnley (h)
Spurs (a)
That run of fixtures likely to see us finish 17th not 7th the way we have disintegrated.

No it didn't, ok we gave away a stupid free kick but we could of defended that, just like we could of defended the one at Millwall, only we couldn't because of the managers tactics.

The manager doesn't make Coleman completely fall asleep, though.

He switched to man marking for that fk, just like he did v Huddersfield. Surprise surprise our players can't do that either.

Not everything is on him.

It's embarrassing for a top-tier set of players as well.

Why do our players NEED someone to tell them that they should effin mark a man from a cross.

It's bizarre, Tim. Honestly, I'm sick of em all. Players and manager.

One game is Keane, another Pickford, then Coleman, Baines...question is why they are doing it regularly and never learn..

And they haven't under successive managers. That's my point.

So, they simply aren't good enough.

It's making me genuinely angry. I start work in five though and get to watch some good teams, and that'll just make me angrier :D

Well every team in the world are prepped for how and who to mark at set plays. It's 75% managerial organisation and 25% application on the field. A well drilled team will apply tactics well. A poorly drilled team will make errors.

I think we have poor organisation and poor players. Our defenders aren't aware of danger. They don't sense it. So using a style of defending that is reliant on spacial awareness you could argue is very poor management. I just think he's not competent in this area of the game. Nothing I see looks organised. I can't remember seeing any top flight team so poor.
