Slightly (well, hugely) misleading that, seeing as Silva had only managed 4 games at Hull at this stage of the season and they'd kept clean sheets in 2 of them.

By our own standards of the previous 10 years, we have had one decent season in the last 5 when Koeman took over.

The two seasons before that we finished 11th, last season 8th and look set for a lower finish this season.

We have gone backwards in the last two seasons completely.

Frankly I just don't care about the FA cup or whatever the league cup is called now. They're wastes of time and meaningless trophies, in my opinion.

Everton are 6 3 8 since the start of November. I'd hardly called that awful. Mediocre, but not awful. Spurs, Citeh and the Kopites are appreciably better than Everton, so meh. A point at Stamford Bridge is always a good result. Consistently competing with the big boys isn't going to happen for another few windows, if business is done well.

Silva hasn't done anything extraordinary but I didn't necessarily expect that this season. Still a lot of holes in the squad to fill.

There are glaring holes, several of them, in our own 18 yard box everytime the opposition get a free kick or corner, SORT IT OUT MARCO.

If Silva has got anything about him as a coach, he will take the two weeks we have off after Watford, get the players together and work on the defensive issues. Sort it out before we play Cardiff and the RS.

I support Everton, they are my team.

I want Everton Football Club to win every game they play.

I would never , ever, be "ok" with any side putting 8 past us " to help their own cause".
