Club Captain and Team Captain are two different things, Club is for promo stuff like interviews and EiTC, Team is on pitch matters as shown with the fact Baines, Coleman and Davies have all worn it since Wolves (Seamus will likely be skipper tomorrow and alternated while Jags is out injured)
Pleased with Silva's comments re: lookman and the new signings. He's right about them not having a pre-season and as he is using the squad to wisely give the new signings time and also to give everyone competition and motivation to want to get in the team. It also shows he rates lookman, which will hopefully have a positive impact on him to motivate him to want to get in the team too.

I think the “club captain” thing is more of a PR thing i.e representing the club, media stuff etc! I reckon within the next 3-4 games Seamus will have the on pitch armband virtually full time, Digne by then will be playing left back most of the time!
