I'm just sick to death of us sacking manager after manager, I see no point firing him mid season, he should be given the time to show something till the end of the season. When have we ever sacked managers after “the first bad spell of results”?
Never.
Not Moyes.
Not Bobby.
Not Koeman....the bad run of results which did for him were a reprise of the dismal autumn results of his first season and which indeed were his stock in trade at Saints.
Not Sam...it wasn’t the results he was fired for.
I have said on a number of occasions now....the reason patience is in such short supply for Silva is because of the sheer predictability of our current travails, based on his track record in England in the twelve months before Watford fired him.
It was a mad appointment and an obsession on Moshiri’s behalf which beggared belief then and which looks even madder now.
Now, I personally would not pull the trigger now. End of season for sure, unless there is a dramatic improvement.
But these fellows calling for his head right now......they are not mugs, they see the writing on the wall and calling for his dismissal sooner rather later is a legitimate enough standpoint even if I personally don’t favour it.
At the moment
agree. sacking more managers is not gonna do any goodI have already stated that continued sacking of managers isn't good. It especially isn't good when our owner has pretty much alluded to the fact he isn't going to be throwing big cash on players (read the AGM minutes)
There's certainly an argument to be made for getting a new manager in mid season to get the feel of the club, size up the squad and then make a decent fist of the transfer window concentrating on our weak areas.
That argument falls flat on it's face where you look at us, we're weak everywhere, our owner has said he won't spend big and what manager would take this poisoned chalice with a squad of players that considering their wages will be difficult to flush.
Our only answer, as painful as it may sound to some is to stick with the man we have. Some point to his previous records in the premiership but if we can hold our nerve and wait it out there's a half decent chance he could turn it around.
I know, I know. You have to try to be optimistic as a blue otherwise you wouldn't ever get out of bed in the morning.

well done

you implied it you divvyDid I say that you divvy? There's more to life than football, get a sense of humour, ignore the taunts and get on with your seemingly miserable existance
so what?
so you are happy with this
you don't want to change?
Yes I think you're right. But that's not what I said is it.?
If he changed results would improve. If he doesn't he'll be gone. Possibly as soon as the next game. I don't know why you're arguing this point with me.

i get thatAbsolute melts though paddy power aren't they. They'd be doing that to anyone in our position, bar probably Liverpool.
you implied it you divvy
these comments are due to our poor performance which is down to our manager
you stating to just ignore it is just naive and is not a solution
