The new players don’t look much mentally stronger. If I’m honest about it.

It’s the club as a whole.
they get dragged into the mentally weak casm that is Everton FC

they are probly all patting each other on the back now, with marco rasing a glass , saying how well we have played this first half of the season and that we have have to look forward to next year..

when they should be out doing defensive training drills in the dark and rain

You still think he doesn't derail our form with that calamity AND give that lot a boost?

Ok.
Why do you keep going on about them davek lol, they were not top even after winning v us,and were beating teams before us pretty much non stop, nothing has changed for them-the only thing difference is city have gone on and lost 2 games after that game-we just about beat cardiff the week earlier, had trouble beating palace/brighton and co,and thats basically it

But no progress in terms of results. And he has benefitted from Koeman's signings bedding in and in Gueye and Siggurdsson, 2 of our most important players this season are from Koeman.

I didn't specifically say sack Silva. I merely pointed out the facts which from my perspective are almost identical. Maybe we should be patient with Silva, but do you think we were with Koeman?
I think Moshiri moved timely on Koeman and it was actually sooner than I thought he would.

A poor day for Silva but I still see some green shoots and think he deserves another 3 windows at least under Brands to actually construct his own team.

A 6-2 defeat at home would previously have been an unacceptable at Goodison Park in our hey days

It’s now almost acceptable with a few grumbles and a shrug of the shoulders

its only the people that endorsed him saying this and shrugging their shoulders.

happy to blame all the players, esp the keeper, while mastermind Marco gets away scot free, afterall he has got a 'free year while we transition

Nail on the head. Unacceptable when in your hey day but that was over 30 years ago. Sometimes you just have to take them on the chin. I remember in the 78 (I think) when we went loads of games undefeated and poor old Man Utd came into town and we waited for us to thump them.......we lost 6-2 at home and by the end of the game it was already accepted and even people joking about it. It happens and we have to deal with it. I am lucky that I don't live in Liverpool now as it is the RS fans that gets to you more.
