Kopite just texted me and said the obvious. That Pickford error in the derby has ripped all confidence and heart out of the team. Shows how weak we are mentally if that is the case. This despite having players within the team who have played for Brazil and Barcelona’s first team and numerous internationals. Whoever comes to this club, we seem to be cursed with their inability to perform in big games, today we can add the manager to that list as frankly his tactics were naive.
An oversimplification.

Maybe but We were able to outperform our budget for years under Moyes, and that is the structure that worked for most of the really great British clubs. I understand you have to move with the times, but often we mistake novelty with innovation and improvement.
That is a very valid point indeed. One of us is right mate and it’s probably you.

Moyes’ eye for a player was brilliant though, would make a great scout for someone.

I like to think I’m a pretty calm poster on here. Try to give everyone a good chance. Even Silva, who I never wanted, got a chance. I hate the managerial bull crap and hoped he’d prove me wrong. I stuck by Pickford longer than nearly everyone.

But I can’t have things like today. It’s embarrassing.

But my overall fear right now is that Moshiri will not do a thing because Silva is his boy.
brands will be in his ear... and Philip Cocu might be getting invited for a turkey bap on boxing day

The price of entertainment, Silva must have lost something in translation, it's supposed to be us putting 6 past teams at home, this better shape up very very soon!

Any manager has to be questioned when their team have conceded SIX at home, one away win all season. We all know that we are pitiful away to the top sides but we Dropped points at home to Huddersfield, west ham, watford, Newcastle.

Wow.

The majority of the squad is the same one that was crap under koeman and allardyce and a fair few under the final days of Martinez.

Silva may well have been at fault partly for this result, course he is.

But for the love of God stop jumping on the manager the minute something doesn't go our way when we still have the same faces in the team!

You say Davies and Schneiderlin are crap for the past year? They were our midfield options!

Crap result and Silva got it wrong today. But you are all blaming him the same way you blamed koeman and allardyce and unsworth and Martinez , connect the dots here.

Yeah, but one of the best things he did was modernizing the structure here. We were miles ahead of everybody in terms of our scouting network. He also brought much more sports science to the club. This is why I find it funny he is painted as a “dinosaur”. The set-up he walked into at Man Utd was actually not as good as what he built here.

How can people seriously claim this is acceptable and/or be a season of transition after spending £85 million on 4 players and having another 2 players worth £50-60 million on loan.

Its baffling how he hasn't been chased out of GP yet.
its fine we are transitioning, how many bleeding times !
