Mourinho is just a bad coach. He is good at coming in and having an immediate impact, but it seems everywhere he goes it ends in chaos

He built a good squad at Porto and Chelsea and also did well at Inter, going out at the top but the Inter squad was full of aging legends and from there on, while he has won trophies and been successful he has been in a decline of sorts. He just looks a withered version of his former self and has turned from an entertaining force of nature into what appears to be a cantankerous man stuck in the past.

Is that our biggest away win in the prem? Heard it was ONLY our 3rd away game that we scored 5 in the prem, because football didn't exist back then. But first dive kanchelskis ripped Wednesday apart, but that was 5-2.

We've been a hell of a lot better away than home this season under Silva and more wins like this will see us move forward as the home form will eventually improve. But it's always been good and got us no better than 7th.

Largest margin of victory since a 5-1 in mid 80s vs. Sheff Wed.

We also beat City 5-2 at Maine Road in 90s (my City-supporting Dad took me in the home end, looking for a different result...).

Think the away support helps a lot with our away form. Noticed at Goodison over the last few years it's been like a library at times, we're a different fan base away from home

Good win but remember it was poor Burnley Football Club . Where is the match report thread i cant find it on the forum.

Now is the time for him to keep experimenting a wee bit. I’m glad that he wanted to give the top 4 push a go, but things REALLY didn’t work out the past few weeks.

Time to start carving an identity. If it’s 3 at the back or moving Richarlison back into his natural position, so be it.

Think it's silva's mentality. Our away support has always been boss, but we've always gone to avoid defeat in games.

Indeed.

Winning 5-1 away at Burnley is a nothing achievement.

They are regularly drubbed big time at home.

They are a terrible team but it took Spurs until injury time to beat them at Wembley a couple weeks ago :(

But hey ho.....we should just shrug such a victory off as being of no account.

The winning hasn't removed the embarrassment suffered a few days ago, but whatever Silva demanded - the players seemed to have listened. Hope he continues with the 343 formation, and doesn't send Holgate out on loan.
