Shall I lay it out a little easier for you to understand.

Koeman needed a striker.

He actually didn't have the same options as Silva does. Silva has been using Richarlison.

He publicly stated many times that he needed one.

You are giving Silva more support than you gave Koeman.

The reason seems to be because Silva needs a striker.

logic?!

Maybe becasue Koeman was part of one of the worst recruiting windows by any club in the PL.he bought 3 no.10s where he could have spent that money on a replacement for Lukaku.

We didn't though, Wat. You are using hindsight.

Tosun ended last season well. He played well in pre-season. We brought in Richarlison, we had Lookman, Bernard and Walcott. We have Gylfi.

Nobody was begging for a striker last summer, not like in 2017. We had options. We had what looked to be good options.

They haven't worked out. But because the window shut before the season started, it's not like he could predict that Tosun would suddenly drop off a cliff, or that Theo would start missing sitters.

Stop using hindsight as this wonderful tool to slate the club with.

Lookman, Walcott, Bernard and Gylffi don’t play as a striker. He came into a side with tosun (i think he got 5 league goals from January signing), Niasse, and DCL. He added attacking wise bernard and Richarlison, only Richarlison can play up front and is a square peg. That frontline is horrible, but it’s detracting from another major problem- our defence. How horrible do we look defending set pieces? We conceded SIX at home the other week and it wasn’t a freak result, if anyone seen how easy Watford were cutting us open the previous week they could all see we were on for a hiding.

Just watched one single minute of the post match interview and had to switch it off.

Mumbling? Can't understand a word he's saying.
He’s lost it he knows his time is almost up, if he doesn’t go 3 or 4 unbeaten now he’s gone imo. He needs to have a good word with brands for a top notch striker.

The guy who completely lost it with Monaco and has no experience of the PL? You want him to come in in January because we're four points behind seventh?

We are not in a panic. We are not going to get relegated. We don't need a saviour. And we certainly don't need to sack a manager five months in.

Because guess what. In four months time if we'd finished 12th, it'd all be for nothing. So why not stick with Silva and see what he can do with more than five months and one transfer window, yeh?

But they are all capable - or should be - of scoring 5-10 goals per-season.

Walcott could - and easily should - have about 8 already. He's missed that many chances. Gylfi has 8. Richarlison has 9. Tosun should have more than he has had. Bernard's missed three or four sitters too.

We need a striker. But it wasn't the biggest need in the summer. It simply wasn't. Not one bit.

Ok, who's the experienced man you want in?

Look at the clubs around us. They are all inconsistent.

West Ham are currently behind us. They're just as inconsistent as we are.

Wolves, are inconsistent. Leicester, are inconsistent. Bournemouth have dropped off a cliff recently. Brighton are inconsistent.

We're in a group of average sides. That's just where we are. We have an average squad. At the moment we've got a manager who is making poor decisions - I agree with that. It doesn't mean we get rid. It doesn't mean we scrap it all in a panic because we're four points behind seventh.

Beating Chelsea, Man City and Everton whilst losing to Cardiff. I`d take that but we lose to all the relegation threatened clubs and lose to the BIG 6...

I did try to edit before. I don't want him to come in now. I don't think Silva should be sacked this year but he's really trying his hardest to change that stance.

I AM saying he's a much better manager than Silva tho.

But Leicester have also lost other games.

The reason Leicester have beat us and Chelsea and City is because they took their chances. We haven't. That has what has seen us go on this bad run, mixed with mistakes from players (Pickford, Mina, Keane) in vital moments.

I'm not saying Silva is blameless. But you can't pin all the blame at him either.

And getting rid now would just be mental. Utterly mental.

Over half the season gone and we've yet to win a single game we've trailed. A club festered with many a false dawn -i'd say its become embarrassing but it surpassed that years ago- its engrained within the club.

We have no winning mentality. There is little obligation to win every game; but the half arsed nature we coast through matches isn't acceptable. We'll never progress until we grow a pair and start acting like a 'big club'.
