The team get worse. With a better squad.
This nails it. But I would add that it's not really just about Silva or the players - I firmly believe the core of the club is rotten and accepts this level of performance as par for the course.
@ijjysmith nailed it too - as a club, we're pointless. We just exist, doing enough to get by but never aspiring to do anything more. We're part of the fixture list, nothing more.
He looks like the pressure is getting to him now.
Shouts to get rid are premature, but it can't keep going as it is. We've got a run of about 6 "winnable" games, if we fail to win at least 3 of them it's looking very dicey for him.
Jardim
And, again, not saying sack him, just saying that is a manager who I think is much better.
For me he probably has a handful of games left and we need to see victories.
At the same time 10 years ago Spurs, Napoli and to some degree Atletico were all similar and now they're part of the elite clubs so it can be done. Right now we aren't there but nothing wrong with wanting more and expecting that we will at least see some desire from the club for more. It’s horrible to admit it. But people need to drastically lower their expectations on us and where we actually are in the football world these days.
We have average to poor players, with an average manager and we are in an average league position with little hope of progression.
That’s where we are.

Got to be at least 7 points and in the next round of the cup..... or we will be in a relegation scrap! I know that sounds funny but I can see that happening....
Would rather have Moyes back than that muppet.I'm not for sacking managers this early, but if there was even a 50/50% chance Mourinho would come in we should be talking to him.
I appreciate I may be coming across as deluded here, but it is just a thought.

Can still not believe my own previous judgement about him. He really needs to get his head straight. He fumbled around again today. Laughing at his own mistakes ,and that stupid shouting at own players when he's the one who should have a smacking. He definitely needs to sit out some games. It's somewhat embarrassing now. Some humility from him wouldn't have hurt to say the least.
