Still people on here talking about us creating chances and not scoring in our big moments.

Simply dilusional.

0 shots on target 2nd half v Lpool
0 shots on target 2nd half v Brighton.
0 shots on target first half v Leic.

V few chances in other halves of late as well, What are you watching?

Combine that with big ricks regularly from the keeper and hopeless defensive organisation = plenty more pain.

Three huge chances in the first half v Liverpool. Why does a shot have to be 'on target' to count as a chance. Surely a shot that goes wide from six yards out is a huge chance - you know that won't count as a shot on target.

Today and Brighton we were poor. I haven't cited those games as big missed chances, though.

Haha behave. We had a grand total of about 10 shots on target in all them. Just coz we arsed about with the ball doesn’t mean we dominated them

It was tedious boring football

I take it you think that Newcastle, Palace, Cardiff, Huddersfield etc played swashbuckling football then when they visited Goodison? Come on mate, I'm not disagreeing with you that we played boring football in those games, but none of those sides deserved anything from their matches at GP. With the exception of Palace, who did have a go in fairness, most teams below us have come and parked two buses in front of their goal. When we played like that under Allardyce at any, and every away ground we visited we were all fuming because we expect a lot more. It doesn't get any more boring than watching a team desperate for a 0-0 pull a rear-guard action for 90 minutes.

Yes, the onus is on us to play through them and break them down and we have not been good enough at it, but to say these sides deserved to beat us is crazy.

Big Sam in? Fans have very short memories. Yes its poor lately but how is sacking managers worked so far? Eventually get behind one of them and support the players aswell

I mean, we did dominate and we created plenty of chances for it to be more against Cardiff alone. Off the top of my head, Gomes' cut-back, Lookman's shot that was saved, Lookman's cross that Tosun hit wide, Gylfi's shot cleared off the line. And to back me up, here's the stats (Cardiff in brackets)

70% possession (30%)

16 total shots (7)

8 shots on target (1)

17 open play crosses (3)

54% duels won (46%)

517 passes (220)

80% passing accuracy (52%)

But we didn't dominate?

No point of these stats (dominate) when we can’t put the ball into the back of the net and get points.

What games are you watching more like.

Not one bit, they came here and setup to get a point. It’s our job to break them down seeing as we have £150m team

And question is not that they deserved to win, but more of a case that they easily could have got something more from the game.

To say we missed the sitter at Anfield is easily argued that Palace missed a pen against us. Or Newcastle almost snatched a win in the dying minutes

I think what you mean was we limped through and had a couple of pot shots

Agree. He’ll be here next season unless there’s an implosion of biblical proportions. And that’s how it should be. We need the stability. I really hope player power doesn’t put pressure on the Board to make decisions about the manager’s tenure. These players aren’t good enough to select who they play under. It’s not like we have players like Pogba and Martial squaring up to the manager!

I think all of the players like Silva and are behind him mate

Leicester resting their most creative midfielder and still beating us.

It’s things like that which worry me.

We just look all over the place at the minute. Not that we are getting one, but I don’t even think a decent striker would solve much at the moment.
It wouldn’t because there is no set way of playing. It’s a really bizarre watch

I think there's a lot of pressure on our managers to go toe to toe with just about every team we face - top three or bottom three. The players we buy aren't up to going toe to toe with the elite. That's why I was so impressed with RMs first season here: he was plaiting sawdust with that lot getting them to compete. Didn't last long though.

There is no answer other than to find a financial backer with unimaginable wealth. We got Moshiri....

....it’s not only about chucking money to find a solution. Manchester City and Liverpool did that to no avail for years as have Manchester United in recent seasons. The right Manager and DoF are critical. This season looked promising for a while but has stagnated and the Manager has to be accountable for 1 win in 8 games.

Many of the teams we are failing to beating are no better than us. Many of the teams we’re failing to beat have not spent what we’ve spent.
