Allerdyce didn't need to play good football, he needed to keep us up and go, he did that and left.
Siggy was worth every penny of 45m as we tried and tried to get him but that was the lowest Swansea would go.
Don't get me wrong, Walsh was a nightmare, but the form under Silva can't be blamed on the previous crowd

We made it so obvious we wanted him they knew we would pay silly money. Personally I don't think he's worth £45 million but that is my opinion and I respect yours. I think the price tag puts extra pressure on him also. Allardyce did what he was asked but still took us backwards once we were safe which was his remit he should have then tried to improve things which he didn't. The previous regimes take some of the blame as they left us with an unbalanced squad which will take potentially another 2-3 windows to sort. Only then can we truly assess Silva.

We’re a crap team. We never beat the good teams.

I agree, in the main.

Do think we've shown we can be good at times, like. But certainly not enough for anyone's liking. Just don't think the answer is giving up on yet another manager - which I know, btw, isn't what you're advocating.

Results as it stands puts us in 11th place, withnover half the season played. Simply unacceptable.

Aye, in a group with five other inconsistent sides.

Four points off seventh. It's not good enough.

But one win and it all changes. So stop fretting, what's the point in changing now? Who guarantees that progression?

I haven’t said sack him, fwiw.

It’s inevitably going to happen, though.

I don’t want him sacked, i want him to be held accountable for his poor decisions and learn from them. The problem seems to be, he isn’t.

And the team that we seen at Wolves and Bournemouth away is not what’s on offer now. That was a fast paced energetic team that was harrassing and closing the opposition down, actually give us a bit of “oh wow this could be good”. Unfortunately it’s disappeared, it’s an abject side that seems to be going through the motions; which is worrying because it follows the same patterns as both hull and Watford

In what way do you mean 'held accountable'. What do you want, a public flogging? I'm sure the pressure is on.

But you've said 'you don't want him sacked'. Well in what other way can a manager be held accountable?????? And at what other club does that happen??

Well I'd say we're more likely to stick with this manager than the last one given what we invested in him to get him here (the time etc).

He's definitely not perfect. He definitely has to take his share of the blame for what he has got wrong.

9 points above the relegation spot ... the next 4 weeks are massive. We drop points against Bournemouth and Southampton then we’re under pressure. 6 points no less.

If he doesn’t meet expectations, which he currently isn’t, he won’t be lasting much longer.

What are the expectations? We honestly don't know.

I think the reasonable approach at the end of the season will be - have we improved our playing style (in the main, yes), have we tried to win games (so far yes), have we won more than we've lost (so far no), have we brought in players that believe in the style and believe in the club (so far I'd say yes), has he improved players we had (well, yes, so far - i.e. Keane, but there's still work to do, and with others, i.e. Tosun, they've seemed to go backwards). Etc.

Obviously, the aim is 7th, but if we finish 8th, 9th, 10th or even 11th, I doubt it's going to see him sacked. It will probably see the pressure on - and rightly so - but it won't see him sacked. Because we'll just have to start all over again.

Chelsea have draw at home to Southampton today. They must be on a bad run.

Unacceptable.
Look all those results tonight....No one outside the top 6 has any consistency. There will always be 4-5 clubs who are simply awful and fighting to stay in the league, the top 6 will be the top 6 for a long time to come and the rest of us will just take it in turns to beat each other for midtable bragging rights. The premier league, the best league in the world

It’s inevitably going to happen, though.

It might well be likely given modern football, but it's not inevitable.

Inevitability is a very rare phenomenon. Things like death etc.

I'm not happy at all with how things are going but i dont want another change right now because we are already in a big enough mess without turning ourselves into a laughing stock.

Next game has to be a comprehensive win. And then we need a run of better league performances. If certain players don't perform between now and the end of the season, then they need to be turfed out.

Let's stop always blaming managers. Let's replace these gutless mercenaries bringing shame on the blue shirt on a weekly basis whilst shafting is for 80 grand for the pleasure. They are actually disgusting.
