In what way do you mean 'held accountable'. What do you want, a public flogging? I'm sure the pressure is on.

But you've said 'you don't want him sacked'. Well in what other way can a manager be held accountable?????? And at what other club does that happen??

He can start by not giving the ramblings of an absolute mad man when being interviewed and actually accept that his decisions, or there lack of, are affecting us.

Failing that then I’m all for a public flogging like

9 points above the relegation spot ... the next 4 weeks are massive. We drop points against Bournemouth and Southampton then we’re under pressure. 6 points no less.
Southampton could be the breaking point like last season!

The league table at the moment shows just how poor / inconsistent most of the league is. Puel was on the brink of sacking but within space of four games is 7th. Thing that annoys me is how much money we've wasted in the last 5 years on players and sackings and not gone anywhere, not even a decent cup run. We could have paid for half the new stadium if we'd stuck with our old spending habits and probably still would be in the same rough league position.

Let's hope we get an end of season pick up, go back to Moyes days and we used to always seem to have a bad Christmas and then suddenly kick on, although random additions like Landon used to help. Can't see us ever being that shrewd in the market again but you never know.

It might well be likely given modern football, but it's not inevitable.

Inevitability is a very rare phenomenon. Things like death etc.

I'm not happy at all with how things are going but i dont want another change right now because we are already in a big enough mess without turning ourselves into a laughing stock.

Next game has to be a comprehensive win. And then we need a run of better league performances. If certain players don't perform between now and the end of the season, then they need to be turfed out.

Let's stop always blaming managers. Let's replace these gutless mercenaries bringing shame on the blue shirt on a weekly basis whilst shafting is for 80 grand for the pleasure. They are actually disgusting.

Tim Iroegbunam’ve heard this since Martinez’s second season. The only common denominator is the poor management we’ve had because the turn over of players has been huge

That's the thing, we aren't playing that badly, the right addition or two could really make a difference.

I think this comes under transition and as such gives the manager a free reign for one, two or three years..

I mean he said the performance was poor? Does that not include himself? He apologised to the fans for the poor performance.

He isn't going round saying everything's 'phenomenal'...

Arsenal’s transition (from an actual football managing dynasty), is going pretty well I’d say (i.e. they are better than last season.)

Basically, if you accept a season of transition, you accept the manager gets a free season. Not a honeymoon period, not a summer, a complete season of no criticism and attacking anyone who has the temerity to criticise him.

These players are the best paid players we've ever had. And that's why I really resent them.

If managers were the only problem at this club then we'd have got it right by now. I think it's the whole culture. No manager can change that without help from the whole playing staff and the off field staff.

Until there are clear standards set by the club and pressure from above to succeed then there will be no success.

The damage done by Koeman/Walsh and Allardyce will take time to undo. I liked the way we tried to go about things unfortunately a couple of players have gone off the boil and a couple not uo to required standard. Knee jerking will not solve this patience is the order of the day.
The myth of the dammage! Laughable. Silva doent have a clue. Thats a fact.
6 month of Marco and nothing got better.

Circulation of the ball. Still to slow.
Movement of the ball. Doesnt exist.
Creativity. Zero.
Shooting. Hitting the corner flag most of the time.

Quality of corners. Poor.

Defending corners. A big worry.
Goalkeeper. A nutcase.
Central defense. Keane and Mina cant defend for there life.
Right back. Coleman is a dead man walking.
Tactics. We play and die with 4-2-3-1 even if we dont have the players to play it.
Tried 3-5-1 twice. Did work once with a lot of luck against Burnley then we did get found out by Brighton.
Tried pressing against Tottenham with great success! We havent got a clue how to press. Pressing is a team effort. To much to ask from our players.
Our physical condition. We are back to Martinez levels. Most of our players have nothing in the tank after 50 minutes.
We cant compete on a physical level with teams like Watford, Brighton, Crystal Palace, not to mention Liverpool Manchester City Chelsea..
Thats only a small sample of whats wrong at the moment.
And dont tell me Silva will change anything!
