That's the thing, we aren't playing that badly, the right addition or two could really make a difference.

We are playing badly at the minute. We have been dreadful bar one game since the derby.

Yesterday was extremely bad. The players were coasting and going through the motions. That only happens where there is no fear of defeat. Silva is far from blameless either because yet again his subs made no sense and we're too late. You can't just chuck on strikers and expect a goal. I expect some sort of tactical intelligence during a match.

Arsenal’s transition (from an actual football managing dynasty), is going pretty well I’d say (i.e. they are better than last season.)

Basically, if you accept a season of transition, you accept the manager gets a free season. Not a honeymoon period, not a summer, a complete season of no criticism and attacking anyone who has the temerity to criticise him.

The myth of the dammage! Laughable. Silva doent have a clue. Thats a fact.
6 month of Marco and nothing got better.

Circulation of the ball. Still to slow.
Movement of the ball. Doesnt exist.
Creativity. Zero.
Shooting. Hitting the corner flag most of the time.

Quality of corners. Poor.

Defending corners. A big worry.
Goalkeeper. A nutcase.
Central defense. Keane and Mina cant defend for there life.
Right back. Coleman is a dead man walking.
Tactics. We play and die with 4-2-3-1 even if we dont have the players to play it.
Tried 3-5-1 twice. Did work once with a lot of luck against Burnley then we did get found out by Brighton.
Tried pressing against Tottenham with great success! We havent got a clue how to press. Pressing is a team effort. To much to ask from our players.
Our physical condition. We are back to Martinez levels. Most of our players have nothing in the tank after 50 minutes.
We cant compete on a physical level with teams like Watford, Brighton, Crystal Palace, not to mention Liverpool Manchester City Chelsea..
Thats only a small sample of whats wrong at the moment.
And dont tell me Silva will change anything!
Defo has to have a year...

It’s just an excuse that annoys me.

We weren’t ‘tired’ when we drew at home to Huddersfield were we?

It’s difficult the use the tiredness one as an excuse when there’s a 5-1 away win in the middle of it. Were they not tired for that one?
Are you trying to deny that players can get fatigued?

Tiredness isn’t the only reason for our form, I’m sure there’s a number of factors, but it is an important one imo.

This time last season after 21 games, Arsenal were 5th on 38 points, this season after 21 games, Arsenal are 5th on 41 points, so the different isnt massive like.

Well, he did try to rectify it. He didn't try to lose the game.

What he tried didn't work and wasn't good enough. But there's a difference.

What?? He waited till we were 1 down. Even Puel changed at half time because he could see a possibility.

Walcott and Bambi should not have come out for that second half, but they did. And the nonentity of the first half continued

Players were tired he tried his best with rotation but didn't quite get it right as our squad is a little shy on quality. Need 6 players 3/4 for the team the rest for the squad and then he's in a position for us to assess. It is very like Martinez but I think he has a bit more realism and does try to mix things up a bit.

I thought you meant as in he didn't try to get back in the game?

He should have changed earlier, it's annoying that he didn't and did show a lack of trust and a lack of a plan b, I agree.

@nsno-chris he didn't actually 'wait' until we were 1-0 down, btw.

He had Davies ready to come on. The ball didn't go out of play and we went behind from that mistake.

I know we've seen it all before, like, and I agree entirely he should have made the change sooner. To then scrap the change in a panic was also poor.

@Wat Tyler Arsenal have a far better squad than us, and they have two world class strikers who have made them look far better than they've played in most games.

Look at their game against us. They weren't the better side for large chunks. Yet one half chance and one chance that was blatantly offside (like, 5 yards offside) and they took them.
