Cocu was sacked in Turkey after 10 games, he aint getting a top job EVER.
not one single manager has been sacked and gone on to be successful have they !

weve just appointed a manager sacked by Watford !! Philip cocu's CV reads much much much better than marco greek league silva.

plus cocu and brands obv have a very good understanding of eachother.

Why the heck would Silva go back to Portugal? So he can win the league AGAIN? Think he's already established the fact that he can dominate that league as a manager.
showing yourself up here crim

hes only ever won one league, the welsh …. errr, I mean Greek league..

he did get 6th tho in Portugal.. not bad when the league is a 2 horse race...

Have we not learned what a revolving door of managers does to a club?

We aren't getting relegated

He got us Richy, Digne, Mina and Gomes on loan

We are playing more attractive footy (most of the time)

Give him a break (and a few more transfer windows) FFS
I think the question being asked is about if he bails.

Imagine if we did get shut of Silva, it could actually mean to get rid of our last 3 managers (including Silva) it could cost us around £30m!
This is why we should never of gone for him. Yeah I know whoever we go for it's a risk, and anyone can turn out to be a dud, but to go for someone who hasn't been good enough twice before in the Premier league was just crazy

Hull City had about 14 first team players when he took over and he found a way to bring Prince Oumar back from the dead and become a goal scoring machine for an absolutely dire side. Hardly "not good enough". Pep wouldn't have bagged 5 points there.

He had Watford playing very well until two things happened - 1) Everton came for him and 2) Richy was dead from playing nonstop for 1 and a half years

Sure, he was a risk. But to call him not good enough at two PL stops is a little overboard
