It would be interesting if this actually has legs. Hypothetically maybe Silva realizes he can't deliver what he is meant to. Should he leave he relatively still has his reputation intact rather than being sacked. He can do well at Benfica and then move on again.
This would be great, everyone comes out looking fine.

say all you want. he failed twice in the premier league.

he wasn't a good enough coach to keep hull up. simple as that.

sacked by Watford... whatever the circumstances, he was sacked, not good enough, bad attitude etc etc

but welcome to Everton marco lad, come and splash hundreds of millions making us 14th

Moses parting the waters couldn't have kept Hull from going down. And before Everton's approach, he had Watford playing some pretty tidy stuff. I wonder who's on your short list -- I'm sure any candidate you put forward could have holes drilled in his CV as well. As Pittsburgh Footy said, it was because of Silva that Richarlison and Gomes came here; do you honestly think they would have even glanced our way if Allardyce or Koeman was still in charge? Would Digne? Would Mina? This team is still a work in progress to me; I can wait for the finished product as I can see progress being made, even if not as swiftly as some on here might like.

brands was behind the signings.

losing the derby is no big deal especially with a goalkeeper mistake in the 90th minute and liverpool have a fine squad they have momentum atm, they are playin well they are leading the premier league its no suprise that they beat us. in the other end; everton, we still need quality players to compete higher in the league, beat top teams in their stadiums. you shouldnt be concern over a lose to a top team.

But he has to recruit players who will feel comfortable playing under Silva. They wouldn't have been under Allardyce or Koeman. And there's no way Silva has no input on transfers.

brands recruits players who will play under the EVERTON philosophy from now on.

managers will come and go, but all players will be recruited to play as part of Brands philosophy as he will remain the constant

im thinking marco had less say than what people actually think.

yes he had links to richarlison, but who wouldn't want to sign him, he is going to be class.

the next manager will also have to agree to play to the way Brands wants us too.

That philosophy also has to include the manager, nicht wahr?
