Of course he's not good enough. He was a free transfer from bleedin' Watford and even then we had absolutely no competition to get his signature. He's done nothing in his career aside from unprofessionally downing tools at his previous club after we flashed the cash at him. He was given money to rectify the squad this summer and yet he has them being dominated even by the poorest teams in the division on a regular basis. Even when we win it's usually a laboured three points that we hardly even deserved. As I said, not good enough. I assume this 'form' will continue, and I hope he's given the bullet by March so a new manager can come in and sort the club out. Or wait and get Bielsa if Leeds don't get promoted. He'd sort out this gang of spineless losers in a flash.

I think we'll finish between 7th and 12th and that there'll be hardly anything between the teams in that area.

It'll depend how much - if any - progress we see in the next few months, but for me he has to get time, as much as he also needs to improve.

Here is hoping. Never wanted him, same as Koeman and Allardyce. Best part of 50m I guess wasted on those three to go along with the 200m wasted on transfers. That's our share of the new stadium flushed down the pan by the board.

Silva's Everton was a much better squad than Pellegrini's West Ham. And Silva, if I'm not wrong (I may be..) spent more money to further strengthen that squad. The very same West Ham who came to Goodison and schooled us all over the park.

He got 7th then was sacked because he lost about 5/6 games against the top 6 teams in the opening 8 games. The start of his second season was awful of course.

He deserved to go.

In the last 3 seasons our boss spent £300m plus on transfer. So there is nothing wrong to get a proven manager with track records to win games and trophies.

I guess he's a very poor motivator and massively lacks authority. I can't imagine him laying down the law to the players in his pigeon English.

He's a chancer who is in way over his head and everybody knows it. Moshiri knew it at the AGM and in the games since then Silva has kept the same approach and we've, inevitably, Ben woeful and depressing to watch. I feel for the fans who travel and pay to watch Everton.
