I don't want to watch hoofball. Yesterday was garbage hoofball. Let's call a spade a spade.

That seems to be his plan B when we're losing though mate. Haven't yet come from behind to win a game under him.

Thankfully, he still has the backing of the players but Richarlison needs to be put back out the left where he was a menace at the start of the season.

Benitez is far superior to Silva. Not sure if he would manage Everton though.

I wouldn’t pretend Benitez is crap. He has proven track records and should he is backed properly by his boss surely he can achieve and win things.

Am not saying Everton should go for him no but as an inspiration of the kind of manager the club should go for.

Well whatever, those facts hardly indicate managerial genius.

To be clearp, I'm not a fan of Silva and was never happy with our pursuit of him. He just hadn't done anything for us to be so enraptured by him.

Think the Mosh saw a young manager and basically hoped he'd be our pocchetino.
I was happy with the appointment of Silva, I can understand that many wouldn’t have been. However, any manager coming into this club would have had it difficult. With all that has happened before still impacting on us.

I would like to see the errors of before corrected by Brands and give Silva an opportunity to make his mark.

Going back to last year, we have made some progress but so much more is needed before we see a side who can compete. There just isn’t enough quality in the side right now to see the kind of progress people want.

This summer, I feel it’s a great opportunity to fulfil the manager with players to fit his system - again I’m not expecting miracles, but progress should be there - It’s clear that we lack quality and any manager coming into this mess would struggle with what is available.

The only attraction of Silva was to [Poor language removed] them bitchy Watford fans and the 'we are the mighty everton and we'll take your manager' trip that we all were on. Them petty things seemed fun enough to not look at it critically ... and just now we are all going 'wait why did we get him for, he's done nothing in the game'.

Not all of us but a lot of us deserve this.
Absolutely spot on.

Carma does still exist. 98% of evertonians should just be burying their heads and pop up again sometime in a couple of years after some serious self-analysis.

Said it before its like having a nice, faithful wife, things going ok, nothing special. You dump her for a pretty young blonde. Then a few months later you realise you made a very silly childish mistake as she had no substance to her whatsoever.

None of us are happy with the situation and in truth most of us (apart from the old “told you so” cranks, who think they know everything, but just spout doom on here everyday in the hope they get something right to complain about) actually still would like him to succeed.

Starting to look like another dud though sadly.

Doesn’t even seem to have any presence about him, not really upbeat, tactically looking flawed, the signs aren’t great.

Is the nice, faithful wife in this situation Sam Allardyce?
If so men have needs my friend, and big Sam weren’t doing it for ‘em.

What on Earth are you talking about.

Of course he is. He's just playing one DM because he doesn't have anyone else. But the DM is absolutely being instructed and is effectively covering for both sides. At least as much as he can - and people here want him to get moved! It would be hilarious, we'd give up 2-3 goals a game EVERY game. He'd LOVE to play two DMs that could cover more easily - and support - the attack on both sides. He has no one else. He'd love to play an anchor man and probably thought Morgan could do it but he clearly can't. McCarthy is crocked (or washed up), and Gomes did not support the attack well and did NOTHING to help Gana cover when we did lose it.

Coleman got completely owned by Redmond today. Couldn't stop him, could barely stay in front of him, it was a terrible matchup.
Why was this not apparent in the summer? Silva had many months of watching Everton knowing he was coming.
Why did he think Schneidelin would suddenly want to start playing/performing?
What did he and Brands see in Gomez to think he has the physical make up to get around the pitch every week in the prem for 90 mins.
What on earth was he thinking if he thought MCCarthy would come back and help turn us from a 7/8th position team to a 5/6th one?
Did he not see Coleman underperforming, did he not see Zouma is shocking on the ball and Keane a tugboat.
Did they not see we simply don't have any strikers.

I understand the analogy but in this case I’d rather be single if my options are Silva or Allardyce.
