Plus what kind of signal does it send to prospective managers when the last guy hasn't even been there 6 months before he gets the bullet? Unless the wheels fall off in spectacular fashion or somehow some incredible manager becomes available and wants the job at a price the club can afford surely it's better to stay the course and assess in the close season?

the change was needed because of how shockingly bad the football was, I mean marco has brought in some good players, the football is a lot better ( well up until the derby it was ) but end of the day he has got a far better squad than what the table suggests and that's down to him

It wasn't 16th! It was only.. oh wait you said it correctly first time... which is actually still impressive looking.. just loses its impact completely when you have someone jumping down your troath over it not being 16th.

I'd like to see a front four (I know he won't change the formation) of Bernard as the number 10, Richarlison left, Lookman right, and DCL in the middle. It's not ideal, but I'd like to see if it would be better than what we are currently offering.

Clearly if and when we finally sign a striker he goes straight into the starting eleven providing DCL doesn't improve tenfold in the meantime.

Sigurdsson dropped, or dropped deeper depending on if Gomes / Gueye partnership is working.

Wouldnt mind seeing that but flipping Bernard and Richarlison around, having DCL as the hold up forward to allow Rich to make the runs in behind

Nah you are not getting my point.

Some people believe it’s ok to be crap this season then everything will suddenly be fine next season. They use Klopp as an example. Got 8th in his first season and it turns out to be fine now. I don’t know what make them believe Silva will be another Klopp.
