The rain, it raineth every day
Mumble, mumble, fight, mumble, mumble, character, mumble, mumble, reaction, mumble, mumble, response, mumble, mumble.
He hasn't got Brands though to help him, besides Everton will have more pull then Bournmouth and money. He paid £19m for Solanke... its a no from me
What, decent football (not great, mind, but still think we lack a good striker and RB)?And we’ve spent how much on equally gash players? We’ve blown 50% more than that on a ‘striker’ who’s been here 5 minutes and most on here want to see gone. Because Bournemouth’s budget is clearly way less than ours, he’s had to assemble a team of largely unkowns and budget buys, and guess what? They’re doing fine. That tells me he can manage at this level. Success for Bournemouth is staying in the Prem, for us, much more than Prem survival is required from our manager.......whether EH could handle that is the big question, but given the succession of poor managers we’re ploughing through, I’d give him a go. Could it be worse than what we’re currently watching?
Why that lad is a hot English talent plays along with DCL in a successful England under 23 team - which makes DCL a bargain- just needs a run in a team with creativity, and mor faster football - just stop this tippy tippy crap out of our game .... Silva needs to start picking the correct team with the correct players in the right tactics HK had problems when he came it sorted itself - only Silva has to use what he's got and get rid of deadwood starting with a younger side with pace for starters! He paid £19m for Solanke... its a no from me
But surely Brands will sort that outAnd £15mil for Ibe. My mate is a Bournemouth fan and said he considers Howe to be terrible in the transfer market. If anything it seems similar to our current predicament in that the more money he has to spend the worse he is at spending it.
Watching the united second goal you can see why we struggle so much.
Herrera edge of the box controls and runs forward before releasing martial out wide and he crosses it into lingaard who has also went with the attack.
Whereas our cm would have played it wide edge of the box, winger wouldn't be sat on the half way line and we probably lose possession before the half way line anyway.
This is what I talk about with the slow attack. We have the players to do this, gomes to Walcott to whoever in the middle and we have a pontential goal. Yet Walcott never runs at the defence like that, we don't counter at all at pace so directly. When we lose it again so often in similar situations, very similar to the spurs game I referred to, you can see why we have so much pressure on us.
He isn’t an improvement on any of these managers. What, decent football (not great, mind, but still think we lack a good striker and RB)?
Yes, yes it can.

To add to Ronald Koeman and the last season and a half under Martinez.
It's like people have forgotten these things, ffs.
So you want Ian Holloway then?
I'd rather he was given til December at least personally. Chopping and changing managers/ staff frequently has contributed to our woes. I think the club will and should stick with Silva unless we end up in trouble. A lot of things have went against us with refereeing decisions etc, then Pickfords mistake at the Derby, if you look back and take even the refereeing decisions away we could be 6pts better off at least. A top 7 finish and win the FA Cup should be the target for us still. There's no reason we can't bounce back and achieve at the very least top 7 with an FA Cup semi or final. Which gives the players and club something to build on.Is it just me who thinks Silva was chased way too hard for him to be sacked this year unless the big R beckons
