Thats not true and history will judge them both, just like history judged Moyes once he left his "comfort" zone.
Just reckon in terms of getting the best out of the players on the pitch he's miles ahead of Silva.
But as you say, getting out of his comfort zone may prove a different story.
Impressive all the same.

Get Big Sam back just to do the pressies. He was always good, opinionated and could not give a a toss for the journalists. I miss his pressies. Not as good as Martinez though, and defo better than Moyes. Or maybe let Marco do them in Portuguese so he can express himself properly and get a good interpreter so we know what he thinks.

There's no comparision really, Howe is better manager than Silva.
Totally agree, and as a bonus, he’s a boyhood blue, so like us he must have an affinity with the club others just can’t feel. Consider what he’s done, on a shoestring, compared to the zillions our ‘managers’ have flushed away. Yes, his team are level on points with the mighty Ev after 24 games. I really want Marco to succeed, and of course it’s bonkers to be calling for his head so soon, but he’s just not showing us anything, the footie is generally rubbish, and what’s worse, other teams have totally sussed this and just sit back and wait for us to self-destruct.

Boyhood blue constantly cutting shifty transfer deals with them lot.

And we’ve spent how much on equally gash players? We’ve blown 50% more than that on a ‘striker’ who’s been here 5 minutes and most on here want to see gone. Because Bournemouth’s budget is clearly way less than ours, he’s had to assemble a team of largely unkowns and budget buys, and guess what? They’re doing fine. That tells me he can manage at this level. Success for Bournemouth is staying in the Prem, for us, much more than Prem survival is required from our manager.......whether EH could handle that is the big question, but given the succession of poor managers we’re ploughing through, I’d give him a go. Could it be worse than what we’re currently watching?
