Evening Toffee, you cant even compare this joker to Koeman, 9 major trophies compared to 2, Koeman 6th in the league, Silva 18th in the league, this fella is a tuna salad compared to Ronnys BLT.

If Ronny didn't go through about 6 BLTs a day he might have been fit to stick around and do his job longer than he did the fat fraud. Sadly his brain was swamped in lard and it clouded his judgement.

Seen a bigger transcript of what he said to the journo's today, 100% he is gone mate

BTW, interesting that Silva stated 'no-one has approached me' - effectively torpedoing Watfords threats to report us with that line today.

"What I can tell you about this situation is I look at this situation like for some players when they play well, or somebody that the coach wants from another club," Silva told journalists today. "For me, now this is a case for the board and the owners to discuss the situation. For me it is a normal situation, I understand the question."

Asked if he wanted to talk to Everton but was being prevented from doing so, he responded: "I don't answer this question. I read many many things in the week. I need to talk with my owner, my board and my players as well. I do my job normally during the week.

"I don't want to talk about Everton. I am here to talk about the West Ham match. If you want to talk to me about Everton, it's not the club where I work."

BBC reported this as well

"I respect what Everton want, I respect how Watford answer. This is the only true way when you have this type of situation, the clubs need to talk. I can't control this situation."

Yet.

'EVERTON IS NOT THE TEAM I WORK AT'

Asked if he would like to speak to Everton about their vacancy, Watford boss Marco Silva said: "Who I need to talk to is with my owner, our board, with my players as well. Nobody more.

"I do my job normally during the week, like the first day since I came here.

"I don't want to talk, really, about Everton.

"What is really important for us is the West Ham match

"If you want to talk to me about Everton, it's not the team that I work at.

"It's a big club, nothing more."

SILVA TIGHT-LIPPED ON EVERTON LINK

Watford have made a decent start to the season but well-regarded manager Marco Silva has now been linked with the vacant Evertonjob.

When asked about the situation, Silva says he is focused on Sunday's game with West Ham, but did not exactly play down the speculation. What do you make of this?

"What can I tell you about this situation - I look at this situation like some players do when they perform well," said Silva.

“If somebody feels a coach performs well and tries to approach the owner of the club, for me it's one situation

“I don't know about the offer or not.

“It's a moment, in case, for the board and the owners to talk to each other about the situation.

“For me, I look at it like a normal situation really.

“I understand the question but I still talk about what is more important and for us in this moment it's the game against West Ham."

Don't know how anyone reading that can't see he obviously wants the job mate really.

"I respect what Everton want, I respect how Watford answer. This is the only true way when you have this type of situation, the clubs need to talk. I can't control this situation."

wowsers........

From what I heard, it sounds like Marco Silva is interested to hear what Everton have to say. Although, what I also got out of it is that he's not going to force it. I've come to that conclusion because he said that the decision is between the two clubs.

I think if an offer is accepted, Silva will move. If Watford are as adamant as they say they are that they won't accept any offers, then attention shall have to be turned elsewhere. Watford's owners seem to like the hardball game.
