He can't just walk and join us mate, there has to be some form of financial settlement between either us and Watford or him and Watford and it looks as if neither is is even remotely likely given this mornings news.

They're just waiting on Silva to ask for a move AND an increased bid from Everton.

That's all we're waiting for. This is just business when you take the bluster out of it all.

Listen to me. Adam Leventhal has NEVER tweeted anything Watford related that isn't fact. He lunches with Gino regularly and is always in the Directors box when he can attend games. Idiot man if you can be arsed troll through all his previous tweets and you will see that this is the case.

It's clear to everyone Silva wants to leave, nobody from any side doubts that.

If he resigned best case is you are stuck paying a guys wage for 2 years to do nothing.

Worst case is a court deems it restraint of trade and orders us to pay out contract (circa 4 million).

As a final point Pozzo is not actually that wealthy for a PL owner.

Answer me this, given how your players have caved in for previous managers when they have left, are you not worried the same will happen here?

He's working for Pozzo and using his media position to turn the screw and try and force more cash from Everton.
