Listen to me. Adam Leventhal has NEVER tweeted anything Watford related that isn't fact. He lunches with Gino regularly and is always in the Directors box when he can attend games. Idiot man if you can be arsed troll through all his previous tweets and you will see that this is the case.

Stop lying again Stacey. Some hack off Twitter is not equivalent to your CEO coming out and saying it.

If your club are using a hack to defend them via Twitter they are an even bigger joke than asking
for 50 million compo for a lad they only gave a 2 year deal to.

That is not true though. As you've said Pollo is a competent businessman and that is why none of what you are saying is true. Business doesn't turn to the neurotic ramblings of a teenage girl.

This is it really. I don't think anyone on here is even remotely interested in strolling through some Watford fan tweet history

Honestly mate, give up.
You are so incorrect it hurts.
Take it from someone that does understand the bore that is contract law.
Cheers.
Yeah, you're right. In bed with flu, was bored and thought I'd do a bit of wumming. Still, managed to get a few likes which is a first for another team's board.
Doesn't alter the substance of course, which is now that Watford have said no, Silva ain't going anywhere.
To think that a couple of years ago, Watford were everything wrong with football. Now along comes a daft foreign bloke with pockets full of cash, thinks he can buy his way to glory, bullying smaller clubs, and is making a Royle Horlicks of it (see what I did there?). He's Venkys mark 2. Did you see the piece in the Express this morning - Moshiri wants Cavani from PSG and Silva is the kind of manager who would attract him. Clueless. He'll be picking the team next - shades of Vincent Tan.
Having a bit of distant history and a big fanbase means squat in the PL era - ask Villa, Sunderland, Leeds, Forest, Blackburn fans. I watched your game yesterday- absolutely shocking and if the ref/Palace hadn't gifted you 2 goals you would have had no complaints at 2-0. You got ridiculously lucky against Watford - without injury to Gomes they would have walked it. Bottom of the league without that outrageous luck. And on merit.

Still, good luck for the rest of the season (except when you play us of course);)

listen lad the fact is no one apart from about 10 people on here and another 25 on twitter are even bothered about us getting Silva, he really isn't all that good, why don't you just enjoy the game today and stop mithering us on here. ya tit

No.

They're just waiting on Silva to ask for a move AND an increased bid from Everton.

That's all we're waiting for. This is just business when you take the bluster out of it all.
We'll see mate, but them leaking that he's not available at any price sounds definitive to me, and not the kind of statement you'd leak if you were simply negotiating his leaving fee. He can leave for nowt in May.

I am a Watford fan and don't come in peace but not looking for conflict either

Everton are a bigger club than Watford but with only one trophy in 30 years are massive underachievers, a bit like Newcastle

Am sure that Silva is interested in the job but disappointed to think he could be prepared to jump ship only 11 games into the season and also very frustrating that Everton seem clueless in their search for a new manager. Surely Koeman should only have been sacked if a replacement was ready to come in straight away rather a month of inactivity, you can rest assured that if Silva does go the Pozzo's will have someone in mind who is ready to come in straight away.

Is it fair to portray Watford as sacking managers, no it's not. They give only short term transfers as they expect those that brought in to coach rather than manage with minimal disruption when changes are made and are not saddled with having to pay off staff on long contracts.

Players brought in by owners rather than coach who has some say but process goes on whether manager in place or not. Pozzo family have one of the best scouting systems in the world Alexsis Sanchez is a product and a recent example is Richarlison. Very canny too in the transfer market, Will Hughes and Chalobah two England U21 products for less than 10m.

Anyhow back to Silva he may go to Everton but not cheaply. Not much in recent days has come out from the Watford end of things but you can be very sure that Adam Leventhal's tweet this morning is Watford's take on things. He is a massive Watford fan and very rarely wrong

Mate all due respect I stopped reading when you compared us to Newcastle!!!

Oh and I've just read the hack who shares a pie with Pollo and sits in the stand most weeks and you have not even mentioned the second accompanying tweet.

"Club position is now clear, now it’s over to Silva it seems to provide definitive answer/action. An interesting day ahead at Vicarage Road."

That is not a categoric "Silva going nowhere not interested in Everton" but "if he wants to leave he needs to tell us" hence making it interesting.

this guy has said watford says no. watford hasnt come out and said no. but this guy who has a season ticket says no. Hes still coming

all very tr

all very true but still miles better than you lot, you didn't even sell all your away allocation with your best team in the premier league era, now shhhhh

Reminiscent of the desperate Southampton fans when we took Ronald from them.

Not fussed on Silva at all but money talks and his heads already turned. All this 'Sky sources' bs makes me cringe- might as well say 'Skybet sources'.

They weren't *likes* because you made sense. They were *likes* off posters who desperately dont want your manager because they believe if he manages at your club he must be rubbish.

Lol.
