Wouldn't want to see any sweeper any further forward than the edge of our own penalty area, ever. Right away,there is a neutralising of some of the many gaping holes in our defensive set up.

I can see him being here this week but I don't see his arrival changing our fortunes significantly. He needs to bring in a couple of players. He needs to address our defensive frailties and them sort out a goal scorer.

Not a sweeper. The role of CBs has changed over time. You just dont need two stoppers. CB duties are more than ever about anticipation and interception rather than defending crosses or snapping into tackles.

Who could do that for us? Bilic would have been a good shout as he did that role at Ferencvaros. If Schneiderlin hadn't been such a big divvy he'd have a role their to play. Klaassen maybe?

Not yet he is. I maintain however, if we really want him he'll end up at Merseyside. Anyway, one way or another, I'm not really bothered about a Watford manager

Get that. Yeah, either of those maybe, maybe Besic? Played at the back last season didnt he, a few times. Mind you, pen waiting to happen.

Don't want him, any team with him as a manager who loses a 2-0 lead against us especially on our present form must not be very good. Joking aside don't rate him at all, we need someone who can get us stabilised and playing as a solid team if that is possible at all.
