Well that's sounds like it's a no so far.
He hasn't said No. Far from it.
Watford are putting out 'statements' through the media with all the 'matter is closed' nonsense. At the end of the day, if he and or his management start making noise that he's not happy with them not allowing him to leave, it'll speed up.
Lots of posturing from Watford when in reality, they just want a silly Compo offer.

From the perspective, he has like 18 months on his contract, no, probably not.
Considering we want him and are desperate to get a manger in place so they have adequate time to evaluate the squad and decide on January target, yeah - probably.

Watford will complain to the Premier League should Everton renew their pursuit of him. The club are also prepared to put Silva on “gardening leave” until the end of the season if he quits in an effort to try to push through a move to Everton.

45m for Sig and then over 10m for this guy, feels like we are gonna overpay for everything going forward because other clubs will know that eventually we will budge. We pay whatever we need to get what we want but at the same time I think the club has shown that it's recruiting process is very poor.
