I have been wondering why his price has not been tightening over the past week and I think the answer might lay in the fact that, according to what several of our friends on here have said, Unsie is adjudged the winner if he stays in charge for ten games.

Given that five of those have already passed, only a fool would be lumping on Silva or anyone else right now, hence Silva’s price remaining attractive given the speculation.

..it’s a good point, though not sure if the 10 game rule is adopted by all bookmakers. Unsworth still carries the ‘Caretaker’ title, I suspect some firms will pay out on him if he’s formally appointed until the end of the season or even January. In that case I imagine a new market will be formed and the fun can start again.

At university, I was a student of Russian History and Politics and Everton often reminds me of Kremlinology. The Americans created a whole academic sub-division with experts and specialists largely paid to speculate on very little indeed, and more often than not what was not said rather than what was. Some of those folks would have felt very much at home analysing the comings and goings in the Finch Farm car park.
Maybe not so far from the truth with all these rumours about Usmanov's alleged involvement. Can Putin play as a striker??:cool:

Silva should have his presser tomorrow for Sat's game, so be interesting to see what happens between now and then.

I would have thought if its anywhere near a resolution one way or another it could be a telling time, Silva told he is staying - he makes a statement which means he actually will stay instead of dancing around the subject. Silva is off, I would expect something to happen to move it along so he doesn't have to face the media.

Interesting 24/48 hours ahead (sorry).

I won't lie the lack of convo, in press, twitter or even ITK (even jarg ones) is proper draining the life out of what should be relatively exciting getting a new manager. EFC, as always, doing their best to drain the excitement out of everything.

Let him go, no marks.
Getting desperate? Realising all your predictions haven’t come to fruition yet? How about another 24hrs? With the greatest of respect, at least other people on here give valid thoughts and opinion - most of yours have just been wildly inaccurate claims that have all come and gone without success.

Everyone ready for another day of no business?!
