Rather have him than unsworth at least he would organise our defence

If it's down to those two (it's not) then I'd go for Unsworth twice. He's had a handful of games with players out of form and confidence. Let's see where we are after December because I doubt anyone comes in before that.

If you got him then he “probably” would have given you stability, a plan, got your midfield working as they were last year and delivered exciting football. That’s what he’s delivered to date at our place

He's a good manager and has a solid track record. The leaking of goals right now I think is atypical of his career, so I'm going to assume that gets sorted out.

I've said a dozens of times, if Moshiri is serious about it he knows what to do: put the cash on the table and that lot at Watford will take it and that;d be the end of the matter. Not prepared to do that? Then they keep him. Simple as that. There's no principles on display here from anyone. This is the PL and principles are bollocks.

I'm easy about it all. If he arrives here great, if he doesn't we go with Unsworth. Either scenario suits me fine.

If that number is right then it's a huge amount for a manager BUT it's mid season and would put us in a position similar to one that you now face and would open the flood gates for offers for our players

What we don't know is what's been agreed behind closed doors. Maybe nothing or maybe a give us 10m and you can have him in the summer type conversation

I think anyone believing that Moshiri has sunk four weeks into negotiating for a manager who's obviously given him encouragement to come for him has now meekly walked away are being very unrealistic.
