Marco Silva

LOL you lot do realise that even if Silva wanted to come he can't just engineer a move, Watford hold his contract. If Pozzo says 'Marco your turn to manage the stiffs' then there's not a lot else he can do without risk of losing his Uefa licence.

Pozzo doesn't need Moshiri's money. Right now all he needs a coach that can get us above Burnley and possibly give us shot at the Uefa league.
While all that is true, consider how Watford will appear to future managers if they did that
3 managers in 3 years and then putting another on gardening leave.

Who manages the team while Silva is on gardening leave with the word "slave" written on his face.

He will be the manager previously called Silva.

That perfect reasoning will be ignored mate due to the fact that the Pozzos are Silvas mum and dad and control his every move whilst scouting all the best players in the world

Then why are you and your friends panicking?
Am I?

I've explained once already why we're no longer a club a medium sized club like Everton can just roll over, FFS Gino Pozzo is well used to playing hardball with many of Europe's biggest clubs already.

And we already have Silva's signature, we really don't need anything else.

No way will Watford (or Burnley) finish 7th this season. Burnley haven't the depth and Watford's several "glove-wearing" players won't fancy the cold weather in January and February

Normally I might agree but right now I'm having trouble identifying just which club is set to come up on the rails and beat either of us to it... Leicester possibly but they need to hurry up.

What I don’t get is, why are Watford fans coming on here and boasting?

From what I can see your “special” manager wants to leave after a handful of games and the only thing stopping him is a break clause which doesn’t come into effect until end of season.

You are pissing away millions in compo for a mid table finish, and then you will lose him in the summer regardless.

Have a long hard think about it.

If Dyche goes to Everton, I'll be relieved if Burnley finish 17th - I remember what happened in 2009/2010 when Coyle joined Bolton in January and the Burnley board replaced him with the disastrous Brian Laws. Of course Laws took us down.

Apart from Leicester, I can still see Bournemouth doing quite well now Callum Wilson is back.

If I were a Watford fan I'd be disappointed that my manager can't say he's committed to Watford. He won't answer a direct question about his future.
Now that isn't quite the same as saying I want to leave ... You are a bigger club and I have no doubt he might be interested, maybe in June so he's not going to burn bridges but seriously .... he's hardly throwing a strop on today's showing.

Yep, I've always seen them as in our shadow but Howe does a good job there and it tends to be nip and tuck ... tbh I'm surprised Howe's not been approached by a bigger club himself.
