Silva is intelligent. He won't come here when he knows the likes of Arsenal and Man Utd will come in for him in a year or two.

I wouldn't go near the Everton job whilst my Watford side are flying.
Man Utd and Arsenal want an experienced manager , neither Arsenal fans nor Man Utd fans will settle for Watford's manager, they'll want a manager experienced in Europe managing a club with expectations. Watford have expectations of staying in the Premier League - it's the reason they're on here talking about themselves as if they're beckoning in a new era of football with their League One Stadium and 'greatest scouting network' assembled in the history of world football.

Silva won't be offered a bigger job than this one for a while and he knows it, hence his refusal to deny he wants to come to us. Seems like he won't rock the boat though and force the move, it would've happened by now I suspect. Need someone in desperately, so we need to move on.

I disagree, tbh. I think he's been told by Moshiri a deal will be done and to hold tight. The nuclear option does look now though like it's needed. That's probably why Silva has never committed publicly to staying at Watford.

Only in the Summer... We will not leave watford at this moment.. Everton have two options... If still want Marco, find a manager to manage until the end of season too keep the clube in Premier League... Maybe O´Neill or Big Sam... If Everton want a option for the future, Sean Dyche i think...

I have no problem with the stance Watford are taking. Having a 'better than expected' season thus far. Allowing their manager to leave at this point in the season is a complete no no. Its true Silva could have just said he isn't leaving for Everton. That kills it there and then. Hasn't really done that in my view.
I do think he'd come to us, but clearly doesn't want to resign as it would reflect on his character. He wants the clubs to sort it, and rightly so.
If Watford remain steadfast, all Silva can do is resign. It would leave bad blood all round. Can't see him doing it, but what do I know.

Do not think any of those will come to end of season, BFS has already indicated that.

Dream on. If he’s been told anything by Moshiri, there’s that tapping up people keep mentioning. If you believe what you read (some will, some won’t, I accept that), then this is getting legal and that is a far more plausible reason for why Silva isn’t saying anything.

What happens then though? A fine.

I'm sure Moshiri will take that.
If proven (which none of us know what’s happened, so hypothetical granted, then it could be points as well as a fine. And you can seldom afford to have those taken away at the moment. Unlikely to come to that but it’s also dangerous to be so carefree about the prospect too.

Marco will not resign.. Maybe everyone will think that i am crazy, but if Marco put Watford in top 8, seven place for example, that is completely possible, i think maybe Spurs will call him... I Think Mauricio will leave them in summer, maybe to real madrid... But ok, Everton in the summer have a lot of possibilities to get Marco...

No mate, you're clutching at straws with that argument. Silva plainly wants to come to Goodison, the issue is more about finding a way for all parties to be happy with that outcome. Chances are that a deal won't be done, and he'll stay at Watford, but, even given our current predicament, managing Everton would be a logical step up for him, and he's an ambitious young manager, so, apart from the ( mid-season ) timing being all wrong, it's a total non-brainer for him.

Honestly, I dont know why you're so het up about this situation. After all, Silva is staying at Watford...isn't he?
