I think Everton needs to go for another option... Marco is not available ah this moment... The question is what i said before... What type of solution? A manager for the next 2 o 3 years, or a manager until the summer...? I Think the current manager is not a option.... If i was the owner, probably at this moment a manager with Premier League experience, a oldest man that impose respect on the team...

Shame this one is over. Think it would've been a good fit. But we need to move on and get a manager for now. Not some standby to scrape 40 points. Nobody knows what will happen to Silva and Watford between now and next season. Might be well out of our reach. Might have lost some of his shine.

Up to Silva now. He has to walk if he wants a move to a club like this. When all is said and done he wont get a better launch pad to the big time than this. If he does well here he can realistically look to a European elite club. Moyes got the United gig by winning f.a. for us!

He is right Dave, which is why we have been trying to buy him out of his contract but Watford say no.

You can’t just can’t resign from your post like you can in normal jobs. It’s an extremely unionised environment where uefa and the premier league can and will take unilateral action against anyone in breach of the terms of their contract. Which will include resigning from your post to immediately take up another job.

He's just not for me mate. And he wouldn't accpet the job for just 6 months. He wants 2 year deal and bunper wages/bonuses. Hardly surprising I know.
