Now you could argue that what we need right now from a manager is a degree of stability and to integrate not only our huge number of new signings but also the youngsters from the U23 squad. There's an element of sense to that, except Silva hasn't really stayed longer than a season at any of his recent jobs. It doesn't create the impression of a bloke that wants to build a legacy. Instead it smacks of desperation because anyone worth their salt has turned us down.

Can't say I am excited about a manager whose goals against record in the prem is awful when we are leaking goals,and currently about 4 points above us when we are in crisis.
Will support him if he comes but not convinced he is the man for us.
