I cannot help but feel that if was Unsworth it would announced by now. particularly after the result yesterday and the feel good factor it generated.
The longer it goes on then the less likely it is to be Allyrdyce as he all of last week to think about the job and to negotiate terms.

I do believe that whoever comes in will have David Unsworth as part of the team and I feel that it could be Silva or my dark horse bet is Bemitez.

I don't think Unsworth is in the running mate, but the spectre of Big Sam looms large. I've said before that I wouldn't mind Benitez because he's good and I want the best man for us, but there's too much baggage.

If he signed up here and did well he'd have a couple of elite English teams about to drop their managers soon: Wenger, possibly Pochettino if someone massive came for him, Conte looking flaky at Chelsea.

According to some German footie journo Heynkes is keeping the seat warm until the end of season for the young Hoffenheim coach Nagelsmann

I am not sure they'd be into the style of football that Ralph Hasenhüttl would bring.

It seems like this season may be an audition for Nagelsmann, he isn't really passing it at the moment! Although they had a good win at the weekend after a rather unconvincing 2 or 3 weeks. Which may open the door more for Tuchel, but honestly, who knows what they are thinking. they may go completely in a different direction and surprise people.

As much as I don't really want him here, I see Big Sam as the best from a bad bunch, some of the names we have been linked with would be awfull appointments, at least Big Sam has some experience and I believe we need to go back to British. Foreign managers just haven't worked for us.

Dont they tend to go for the superstar coach in recent years?
 
His post match interview was funny he got asked about zonal marking on DCL goal and he totally spat his dummy
call it luck or whatever but he got humbled yesterday by a caretaker managers brave substitutions

Lets not get carried away mate, the game turned on their keeper getting injured and then a centre back following suit minutes later, without those two injuries the chances are we lose that game comfortably
