Surely that is Brands's decision?...if he is actually coming here..

Well if people are saying they don't want Silva...then it would make sense to offer a reasonable alternative rather than stamping their feet...

lol

Its a bit 'oliver twist'

Silva leaves me a bit underwhelmed and I'm still worried about Hull getting relegated after he had got them into a position where they could have stayed up and the fact that Watford leaked so many goals under him. In saying all of that he'll be a breath of fresh air after Koeman and Allardyce.

An awful lot of people, including the normally sagacious @davek and @Zatara, are far too readily turning a blind eye to the farcical nature of Hull’s relegation after they looked safe and Watford already starting to come down from the new manager bounce weeks before we started chasing him.

I would have him all right.....Koeman and Allardyce have ground me down this season.

But I think it is a real leap in the dark :pint2:

Hes smashing the media rep at his club...maybe she wants him to stay and they get married and live happily ever after?
lol lol He can still bring her with him! Personally i was disappointed that Walsh wasn't kicked into touch after the January window closed and the new DOF installed with a few months to go before the end of season. They could have then sorted out the new manager. I've got little confidence in the people in charge getting things right to be honest, and asking them to get the DOF right and the manager right is almost certainly a bridge to far for the clowns in charge of the club.

That's pretty much where i'm at. One of the reasons i'd prefer Fonseca is that he plays attacking football and can organise a defence.

Come on mate...someone who we could realistically hire/attain.

But I think more of the club than you do apparently, Zat.

Outside of about two or three managers in this country and another half a dozen overseas, I think we would have a chance of hiring just anout any manager in the world.

What we really need is someone capable of selling the club to the best managers ;)

Some people just get hard over losing games 3-4 so long as we play fancy football and play a few under 12's.

I would rather a manager who can attack AND defend.

Completely agree - i still think we'd have a shot of getting Emery if we got our act together.
