I doubt he's laid low so long and avoided any association with other posts without there being good reason.

And if he was chosen by Moshiri it'd at least give us some hope that the feller isn't as flaky as many of us believe. Surely his determination to employ Silva hasn't dulled that much in 6 months?
Unfortunately it looks like you are right.

I agree Dave, at least if the Mosh did go for Silva it would demonstrate that we arent being run by the managerial equivalent of a fat kid in a sweet shop. That he is actually capable of consistency in planning and his strategy and goals are largely unchanged since he last tried for Silva? We can but hope!

I can’t say I bothered watching anything of Hull or Watford whilst he was there. Did he get them playing really good football?

No, not at all, well not by whats an acceptable standard for us anyway, almost keeping a side up is fine if you are in that situation, like we might of been, but good football that chases the top 6 and good football that might keep you above Middlesboro and Sunderland are two different thing. Even his football at Watford wasnt that good, which is why they had so many goals against

Silva gets his teams to play the ball forward, and in front of the receiver. We've not done that since Kendall MkI. For the last 5 years in particular we've played the ball into feet or behind the receiver, and without any pace usually. The result is a lack of momentum and pressure being put on the receiver by the time the ball arrives.

Clutching at straws mate.

This bloke will send us down - fortunately it won’t get to that stage as he’ll be gone before it’s too late - like at Christmas.
